Kobe was extremely active on D. Just awesome in chasing Jennings around.
How he can do all that running and still get up so high on offense on his jump shot is beyond me.

I just don't think this is sustainable.

I will never ever ever understand the fetish for outlandish trade proposals. Or trade proposals in general.

Just happy that he's finally taking the role of being the primary perimeter on ball defender on this team. This should have been the case a long time ago. He's not going to be able to stop the likes of CP3 but at least he'll make things a lot harder with his length and size than Nash ever could. Also Nash won't sleep on defense being off the ball and it allows him to exert more energy on the offensive side of the ball which is a good thing. Also nice to see Dwight getting more involved in the offense. He's looking like his old self right now which helps explain the recent blowouts, and yeah it's agains the cavs and bucks, but hey we weren't even winning those games before.

Yea, this thread should have a disclaimer stating that Jennings is like a career .398 or something shooter.

Just a heads up,
I checked the math 4 divided by 14 doesn't equal .398.

Never said that Kobe didn't do a good job or hold him below his percentages. Just pointing out that his relative inefficiency when Kobe is guarding him as opposed to other opposition isn't as wide a chasm as is being inferred here.

Due to sheer variability, he probably has 4/14 nights often, some probably when guarded by mediocre defenders.

If kobe keeps this defensive role the whole season I can him see him getting a 1st team all defense nod lol. And realgm would have a fit.

You neverr said it, you only inferred it.

Hey, if I came off as discrediting Kobe's defense then that was not my intention. I've previously lauded Kobe's defense on Chris Paul and Kyrie Irving. I just wanted to keep things in perspective regarding Jennings.
