I love Clark, but he isn't a good speaker to say the least.

At this point Pau's ability to compete is very much in question but I welcome him to prove me wrong at any point. A healthy and capable Pau coming off the bench would make us very tough to contend with...

This is why putting Gasol back with the starting unit makes no sense. Clark is a great passer, and has gotten the ball to Dwight in some great spots. He's a much better defender than Pau, and has the defensive versatility every coach dreams of. To cap things off, he's hitting those mid-range shots at a higher clip than Gasol. Oh, and then there's that energy factor, too.

I guess leaving Clark in with the starters makes too much sense to actually do it.

If MDA starts Pau over Clark and the Lakers struggle on Wed we deserve it... At this point Clark deserves a shot to prove he can be a difference maker. Pau has barely earned a reserve roll. Let him come off the bench with the other scrubs at the end of the first and see what he can do..

Baby steps for Pau at this point. He needs to prove himself.
