Larry Drew and Josh Smith having Trouble!

i'm probably the only laker fan that doesn't really care for josh smith. how exactly is he gunna help in D'Antoni's system? Is he a good 3 point shooter? Or mid range shooter?

TBH i was cool with rolling with Hill/Clark/Jamison/MWP at the 4 rotation. Now that Hill is out, i don't mind having Clark start at the 4, if he keeps this play up.

We need to be focusing on an athletic defensive minded 3 who can hit the open 3 and take on some of the defensive assignments from kobe from time to time. the 3 spot is our main weakness imo b/c worst case scenario, we can always start MWP at the 4

Other team sets pick. Pau picks up guard. Pau gets burned by guard. Rinse and repeat until Lakers lose.

Don't worry about our offense. Think defense! JSmoove is a massive upgrade to in that department. JSmoove can do a far superior job to Pau when defending PnR's....

Guys like Kenneth Faried that seem to find ways to kill us will no longer have field days against the Purp n Gold!

Guys like stupid LaMarcus Aldridge that also kill us will have a much tougher time scoring on Smoove than they do the super slow footed Pau.

J-smoove will ask to much $$$ wise for this to be effective. Plus we will be taking a step back in the 2014 FA class, if he comes here and signs for the cheap I would do it, but otherwise no thanks.. Pau still can be utilised if he ever gets it together on this team.

If we can get Memphis to give up Rudy Gay, I'd much rather have Rudy Gay than Josh Smith.
