I'd like to note that the dissenters have been bringing up Lin in this thread when he plays. If you don't want to talk about him don't bring it up idiots.

Yeah, there are like 128437385996 threads in this Knicks forum, and for some reason, the Lin haters enter the only 1 thread that discusses all NBA teams to find Lin and his fans. Last I check, Lin plays for Rockets, so I believe this is the appropriate thread to discuss him and his team, unless you Lin haters want to treat Lin still a Knick and I can bring him up in other Knicks threads?

Fyi, I have also been posting about other games as well. This is Around the NBA thread dude, which is like an embassy, you can't touch it and the citizens inside, unless you're a terrorist (troll)

I don't want to derail so I'm gonna try and end this here.. I just find it curious how this year you seem to only be involved in conversations pertaining to Lin on this board this year. That's all

Never said anyone else was making this thread out to be anything, my post was directed solely at you.

Keyword: "seem"

I've posted in other threads regarding Knicks and other teams too.

E.g. I was about to post this:

My love for Lin's game is none of your business. This is Around the NBA thread, and I only posted 1 post about Lin and you jumped me (like usual). I can understand if you jump me if I had posted 10 straight posts about Lin, and being a troll. Your hate for Lin and his fans is like Kyrie's game: ridiculous, sick, maniacal. To him is complimentary of course ;)

Was this supposed to be clever or sarcastically corny?

I actually am a fan of Lin (maybe not on the Rockets) as I am a fan of most ex-Knicks. I just find you in particular to be a curious poster.

The good news: The Lin will be forgotten in less than 2 years.

The bad news: Two more years of this garbage to go.

Kyrie is like that cat when you show up to the Y or JCC and he is way to be good to be playing a 5 on 5 pickup game. His handles are sick, he can pass, he can shoot, he can play defense.

I thought he was going to be good but he is going to be great. There is nothing he can't do on the basketball floor.

If he just gets another scorering wing type player that team is on the fast track. Dude is a BEAST

Uncle Drew exists for real... it's sick how he plays in real NBA games the way he did in the commercial, he's straight up clowning pros. The sickest part is he doesn't look like he tries.

I'm sorry I didn't see him as the second coming of Steve Nash and always felt Raymond Felton was the better fit for this team but I've always seen him as a solid guard (unless you have evidence to refute this).

You're starting to come off as a terrorist.

averaging 2 steals per game. And remember this is the regular season. With as much of the offensive load he has to carry for the Cavs. He can't exude too much energy on the defensive end because he is so important offensively.

but nothing doubts me that if they made the playoffs he would murk the opposing PG both offensively and defensively. He just is downright nasty at everything.

That fastbreak layup where he windmiled the ball over the defenders head for a reverse layup...so smooth :droop:

GettinitDone wrote:Lin has that "Imma take ova dis game" aura in certain moments. When he has it, he's often the best player on the floor. Noone can deny this.

Problem is, he's too unselfish. I hope he works out with Kyrie this summer, Lin can steal his dribbling skills, and Kyrie can learn how to defend.

What is this floor that you speak of?? And Kyrie can learn to play defense from whom?? lol

Good news huh? Sounds like you can't wait for him to fail. Pretty sad and distasteful.

That Jay-Z gif is an amazing response gif

But I agree, Kyrie is really special. it just sucks that the Cavs have messed up every draft pick besides Kyrie

Sounds like he's making an observation.

Sad and distasteful might be you saying that Felton has a low IQ.

Naw. The dude hates Lin. It's blatantly obvious. I've never wished for players to fail in the league. You can spin it left or right or however you want. Seriously, how is he garbage? Define garbage to me. Because if that's the case it's time for a lot of players in the NBA to go.

Yep, I find it funny how certain people who hate Lin troll the thread and then act like victims.

You guys are silly, this thread is an "all nba, no holds barred, analysis of anything in the NBA".

If someone wants to chime in and say "Gallo is great tonite, Lin is garbage", they have every single right to do so.

The preference is leave the Knicks related stuff out.

Just dont make it personal to attacking others, and you say for the most part whatever you want.

Where in this quote do you infer anything about Lin "failing"? I don't even know what Lin failing means? Does 12/6 mean he failed? Because that's what he is - a 12/6 guy (when he starts).
