Well, I am saying, Jazz's main man, the last guy you would want injured became injured, mainly cause there wasn't a real good replacement to take over(which was the original assumption, but I am satisfied with Tinsley, but terrified of Watson playing any more minutes). I mean take any one starter from these teams and look at what happens.

So for other teams, if their top guard or whatever, is taken out, their bench steps up, and their 3rd string steps to bench like us. Most teams would suffer hardcore, were lucky to be this close. Look at it this way, would you rather see Mo/Tinsley in rotation, or Tinsley/Watson in a rotation?! Yeah that is how bad it is without him.

Thankfully Corbin's dumb face, realized that Burks is a great player who didn't deserve to be DNP'd for so damn long. With him, we don't need Mo, with Tinsley at starter and Burks at bench...Which is probably why the stats shifted to make it look better than Mo. When Mo went out, Burks started playing.

The fact that I was pointing out, Jazz are the main competitor to the current top 8. Min, Dal, and Lal, were definite top contenders when the pre-season started, they were all predicted to make the playoffs for sure. Were lucky cause it makes it easier being the only one not in 8th who are doing close enough. Min lost Love again but still have some fight in them with Pek, Ak, Rubio etc.

If you think Jazz will make the playoffs, then you need to pick whether we will take out DEN, HOU, or POR. Then also assume LAL, DAL and MIN don't make any comebacks. I can see Jazz taking out POR or HOU, but not DEN! Even though I think they are both good, I have to believe that if Jazz beat POR in their games and continue to win we will go. It will put us up 2 full games if we can beat POR back to back coming up.

So YES, it "Can" happen......But its becoming unlikely with POR, DEN and HOU doing good so far this year, but each are one injury away from disaster, especially HOU and POR(harden and lillard).

Lin is said to be injured, which should be good enough to pass them up. If we can get lucky and see any injuries from HOU or POR, espeically their starters, were gonna make it! Without Lin, HOU will have a hard time beating LAC.

Jazz are now tied for 8th, and only 1/2 game away from 7th, and 3 games away from 6th which is Denver.

Pretty much Jazz are in the position to pass up both HOU and POR.....

I think with this new Jazz that came out of the new year, were a sure fire into the playoffs!!

I understand what you're saying about Mo, RyanStorm, and it might be true if Watson were being given all of William's minutes.

The simple fact is that Watson has not been the beneficiary of Mo's lost minutes, it's mostly been Tinsley, Hayward, Foye and Burks, and the tightened rotation has in fact made the Jazz better in my opinion. We're 6-2 in January.

Oh I forgot the Denver loss....so yeah 2 losses so far this year...3/5 road games is pretty impressive(both the trip and in total). Only 2 losses in two weeks is exactly what we need to hit 45+ wins...

Jazz need to finish off the year with 24-18 to get a .549(45 wins). I read that we played 24 road games out of 40 games so far. That is 18 road games left, and we roughly do 3/5 on the road, and were roughly 3/1 at home.

I predict, based on just assumption and the track record, that Jazz will lose 8 at home, and 10 on the road.

Meaning we will hit 24-18 by the end of the year, which pans out to be 45-37!! 7th Spot!!

I would actually like to see Mo at bench SG, that rotates with Foye. Cause that is the one position missing in our current 9 man rotation, well now 10 man rotation with Marvin back.

Tinsley/Foye/Carroll/Millsap/Jefferson = perfect starters
*My line up doesn't need Marvin, but I guess he can sub in for Carroll, but I rather have Hayward sub in

Burks/(MO)/hayward/favors/kanter = hardcore bench
*Two PG/SG's on the floor who can shoot, with Hybrid PG/SF/SG in Hayward who can also shoot and Favors at both PF/C and Kanter who plays Center/PF.

I just think Mo's shooting should be used in combination with Burks or Tinsley. Either put Tinsley and Mo in starting lineup with Mo at SG, that puts Burks at bench PG and Foye at SG on bench. OR, Mo plays bench SG, with Burks at bench PG, and current starters stick together.

Fact is Mo is a great shooter and decent ball handler. I think he would get more easy shots with Tinsley running the ball. Leaving Foye to help out bench points. Cause Tinsley back on bench PG, will reduce Paul and Al's production which is the core.

Right now we could do with out both Marvin and Mo......Lets trade them, and our 1st rounders and get some guys like Rudy Gay for our SF(you know a Shooting Forward who can actually shoot the ball or play defense).

Currently in 7th place with injuries and one of the toughest schedules to the start the year, not to mention we would probably be effected more than any other team by a heavy road schedule. I could see us get to 6th by the All-Star break.
