Frank Vogel said that he expects Danny Granger to make his season debut in late-January or early-February.
He's been doing some more things in his rehab and he might be involved in practices for the Pacers soon. While Vogel's words are encouraging, Granger still has quite a few steps to go before being able to return to the lineup. We wouldn't consider him a must-stash player in standard daily leagues just yet.

So he'll be back after the AS break, seems like.

There are a bunch of sexy FAs available right now, including:

Wilson Chandler, Dudley, Stoudemire, Bargnani, Landry Fields, G Henderson.

12 team, 9 cat, h2h daily.

Definitely going to swoop up Dudley, but who amongst the FA and my roster should i switch out as well?

Guard/Forward
Westbrook
Holiday
Thornton
Gordon
Matthews
Aminu
Shved

Bigs
Glen Davis
Mullens
Jefferson
Duncan
Bynum
Sanders

I am going to drop Aminu for Dudley, but I am torn between keeping mullens and shved. They are hurting me in fg% and occasionally ft% and TO, not to mention their horrible inconsistency. Ill probably end up keeping one of them, but i really like shveds upside with assists.

Who would be better long term to have come playoff time, and is wilson chandler the real deal?

I've said again and again, for many years now, Chandler sucks. Always has, always will. He's not sexy.

Dudley's the only name that pops out. The rest suck.

Agreed. LOL at Bargnani or Fields being sexy. Are we talking about basketball skills and fantasy basketball value here or something else?

Have to agree with that. The last season in New York was awesome and really started to drop off after the trade.

Sure, why not? All my faith in Nene is gone for the rest of this year.

My team is listed above~
I've always been fairly good on assists (I am the definitive league leader in assists) but fairly deficient in 3s (still above average, but need a boost).

I was wondering if it would be a good move to swap Jarrett Jack for Kyle Korver. I was always on the edge with Korver, but with the recent injury to Lou Williams, the boost has made him more enticing. This should make my averages 2nd in the league in assists, and 2nd in the league in 3s).

Is this a smart move? Or should I hold Jarrett Jack for the rest of the season?

Korver loses a lot of value w/ the extra cat. Drops about 30 spots. They're almost identical over the past month. I like Korver better long-term, though; Jack's due for some regression in his %s.

ugh I forgot about that.

Korver does also give a decrease in TOs.
But considering that Jack should get up to averaging ~1.3 three pointers and ~1.5 TOs again, I'm really sacrificing FTM/FT%/assists for an improvement of 1.3 threes and 1 TO.

Maybe it's better if I stick with Jack...

That's why I went w/ role as a tie-breaker. Korver's role can only expand. Jack's role could expand if Curry's ankle woes aren't over, but if not we're talking a role-player in the midst of a career-year. That's not a good bet to continue. He's shooting 48% on shots from 16-23 feet; he's normally in the low 40s. He's posting career highs in %s from mid-range, long 2s and 3s; that's not likely to be an improvement in base skill level. It's more likely he's just, to put it in poker parlance, "running goot."

What does this forum think about Earl Clark?

It's quite rare to get a great-rebounder+3-shooter in FA. Now that he has the starting job with Gasol possibly about to be traded, does anyone think he's worth a pick up in 10-team 10-cat?

I like Clark but I don't believe in him. Why? Because he can't shoot.

http://www.hoopdata.com/player.aspx?name=Earl%20Clark

Check out his career shooting numbers. Terrible. He can't keep this up. Sad but true. And once he starts bricking, he won't be getting major minutes. Look how f ast Jodie Meeks got pulled from the rotation once he started bricking.

Poor D'Antoni. He doesn't have any of the shooting he needs.

Currently Ersan in my League is available

Not sure if he can keep his consistency but I'm kinda interested in getting him

10 team / 9Cat

Current line up:

Lillard
Calderon
Dragic
E. Gordon

Carmelo
P. George
Afflalo

D. Lee
Horford
Bosh
Vucevic
Drummon
Splitter

Was thinking of dropping Dragic but with 6 Big's it's kinda hard to get them all playing.

Or drop Dragic and stash Bynum (Trade Bosh when this happens)

Thanks

Wilson chandler is such a tease. Does he truly have upside, or its all a dream?

What's Deandre Jordan's fantasy value? Should I drop him for Blatche, Gee, Allen, Carl Landry, Thabo Sefalosha, Terry, Foye, Delfino, or biyombo?

Amir Johnson and Tristan Thompson are available pickups in my league
10 team / 9Cat

Current line up:

Lillard
Calderon
Dragic
E. Gordon

Carmelo
P. George
Afflalo

D. Lee
Horford
Bosh
Vucevic
Drummond
Ersan (Dropped Splitter for him)

Was thinking of dropping drummond for T. Thompson or Amir Johnson.

Is it worth it or I'll just stick with drummond hoping he'll be given more minutes
Thanks
