Can we please stop referring to players as "Trash"? Now I know that there are some player that are not as good as others. But they are all NBA player,the best of the best. So even the least talented ones are way better then most people playing the game. I am sorry, but I just get tired of reading threads where someone is referred to as trash, just to describe that player as not that good, or that someone is better. So can we all work this please. Thank you for letting me share my thoughts and vent.

Someone at some point did not think so? Can we just say that he was a very untalented NBA player? And he still made more money then most of us?

for the record, duhon was trash. you can not tell me that you havent played against better players than duhon. he couldnt bring the ball up the court and that was his ONE JOB! he was trash

Perhaps you're taking it too literally... everyone knows that it takes an incredible amount of skill to make it to the NBA. Players are referred to as trash in the context of comparing them to other NBA players, not average dudes playing ball at the local park. This should not bother you enough to make a separate thread for you to complain about it.

oh please, let us call anybody trash if we want too. this is something that really freaks me out about watching sports in America. you cant cuss, fans dont have chants like european or south american supporters have, etc etc...

People get boring and uptight once they get older in the US. Regular season college basketball and football games have nonstop yelling... fans make noise every time their team is on defense and there are plenty of chants. Everyone attending loves it, yet none of it carries over once they are out of school and only go to pro events. The people who want to get rowdy become the minority, so they don't even bother. It's unfortunate, as there's nothing like attending a game with an arena filled with passionate fans.

Fans want to vent frustration or use OTT expressions to show their thoughts.

Yeah, but the tradeoff is we don't have riots, or have players boycott the game because fans yelled a racist slur at them etc.
