apparently crabtree is unlikely to be charged

One well-placed San Francisco 49ers source said he "highly, highly doubted" that San Francisco wide receiver Michael Crabtree will be charged in the events that led to an investigation of sexual assault last week.

A second female witness backed up Crabtree's version of the events to police, according to the source, and there's a feeling in the organization that these events will not develop into anything more than they already have.

My predictions sure to go wrong for today are the Falcons losing to the Niners in a tight one, 17-14, and the Patriots beating the Ravens 24-10.

Pretty damn worried about the Niners winning this one now. After a whole week of being favored to beat the NFC #1 seed at home, after never winning 3 games in a row all season and now with the Crabtree drama....wouldn't be surprised to see the team come out flat and get down by a 7 to 10 points early. It's all going to be about how quickly Kaep can put up points and who scores first, imo. That being said...

Niners need to score quick IMO .. Despite everything, still lotta pressure on Kaep & the rest of the team.

Expect this to be a very high-scoring, but close game ..

As for the other game, I really think Baltimore can pull out a win. Also gonna be a close game

the falcons blew a huge lead to the seahawks and got lucky, i felt like the seahawks just stopped playing after the went up. the falcons sure as hell ain't doing that **** to us today....

i definatly don't think that the ravens are going to blow out the pats, but i hope they do. as far as the falcons go within a matter of minutes, it's time to PACKUP!!!

I had picked the Ravens/Niners in the Super Bowl at the beginning of the season in the contest thread, but I don't see Baltimore making it past the Pats.
