I'm actually not sure. The only way it makes sense to fire him is if Dwight asks him to be fired. If not, you just keep him, since this Lakers team is going nowhere next season. They will/should fire him only in 2014 when they have a chance to rebuild and maybe get someone like Lebron/Love.

The Rockets' losing streak made it more plausible, but it's still not happening IMO. Lakers are full strength and they just lost to the Raptors.

It would take around 45 wins to make the playoffs. That means they need to go 28-16 the rest of the way. I just can't see how it's going to happen.

Not like I care a whole lot, but please explain this.

Just a wild guess that Huston wins at least 44 and they own the tie-breaker with the Lakers.

When I see Houston i see a team that is burnt out with zero confidence that has overachieved.

The Lakers are a misfit group that is underachieving even with that aspect.

3 games with 40 to go? I'd bet on the Lakers.

You are such a hater Thugger. Don't you know Lin will save them. Don't you know the Rockets are young and building the right way with young guys who will all be superstars and multiple time champions? Not like the Knicks. Who wants to be #2 in the conference with old guys? Who wants that s.h.it.

Its more fun to watch young guys develop and miss the playoffs or be 8th seeds with tons of cap space to sign more young guys that we can watch develop.

Such a hater Thugger.

Don't crank this up man.

The only thing that will save them is a deal for a legit dominant player though, they know it as well, which is why they have amassed all that young pieces, but nothings wrong with overachieving at all for right now.

They know they are missing a major piece, you cannot win without "that guy", not sure who's gonna give them one though.

The rumored guys arent that guy either.

If I'm the Grizzlies management Parsons and Delfino are automatically included in the trade, that is non negotiable.

You could give me anything else, but those two have to be included, and if they are I think that team regresses even with Rudy or Zbo.

Chandler and Delfino promote a great offense and actually would make the Grizzlies better than what they give up.

Celtics coming out looking like doo-doo against the Pistons.

Hopefully they keep up that solid work.

Denver has too many SFs and no true SGs, I think they'll definitely make a move.

Not quite. Duhwight got ejected in the 1st half after getting his 2nd tech on a ticky tack double-technical call.
