You would get no fight here from seattle fans, we just want a team. I think most fans actually prefer a expansion franchise.

I mean I'd prefer it at this point, but I don't think the league needs more expansion at all. So many teams already totally lack talent.

As of Sunday, ESPN has a new story saying a deal has been agreed. $525M for 65%. Maloofs sell out and still keep 35%. That's alot.

Wow. What's even more douchey about this is that we find out not long after the 49ers win the NFC Championship. Total buzzkill.

This was expected though. It ain't over yet. Niners fans should know this well after watching the game today.

Most of the big name reports (Woj, Cooper) don't now what KJ has been doing. KJ needed this to provide a counter. It's not over yet.

I also don't think it's over yet. Its disheartening to read a lot of posts from people saying how they feel bad for us and Seattle fans happy they have a team now. Most of them don't know what KJ has up his sleeve. Hopefully we can get this team sustained in Sac. Still have that glimmer of hope.

Yep it really does look done now. It was always known that there was going to be a team back in Seattle. I wouldn't be mad at Seattle. I would be mad at the Thunder. Basketball is new now in OKC and they got KD, but 10 years from now when the franchise is bad with no stars rebuilding... it will be pretty clear there are too many franchises slammed into that one area.

Realistically I don't expect a franchise back in Sactown anytime soon if ever. I doubt it is on Stern's agenda. Too many other cities are in better financial condition and they can offer more.

Ultimately the fans seem to keep getting screwed under this system.

Sorry to Sac fans - some of the classiest fans out there. Hopefully KJ pulls through in the clutch to get a deal. I feel torn as well, as I do want a franchise for Seattle - maybe they should move the Clippers somewhere - I hate that LA gets two teams.
