For me its simply, I watch Davis and he just looks like another player on the court. He doesn't stand out. Whereas Drummond's presence is felt every min he's out there on both ends.

good win, but stuckey needs to GTFO. he almost managed to give the celtics the lead in the 2nd and did nothing offensively. hes redundant with bynum out there. trade him for reddick

btw i believe this was the first time in 200 attempts that monroe won a jump ball at the beginning of a game. congrats

Yeah I feel the same. I think he can get up to 70+ because he has pretty good form already and shoots it soft most of the time.

I agree. I think he's very calm when he shoots FTs - he looks confident and still up at the line, not all twitchy and jiggly. He's smooth. It's all repititions with Dre.

He also has the softest hands of any center I have ever seen.

I know this is early, but I think Drummond can be better than Howard ever was. I'm looking forward to seeing him play next fall, after a long spring and summer of hard work. If he makes big strides this offseason, that will be a huge clue as to whether he has a chance to join the company of the super-elite centers in NBA history -- a category I do not put Howard in. IMO, that joker never took his game seriously enough - he never became a great offensive player.

Celtic fan here.

Man I swear you guys own our souls

The Pistons dominate us every time we play them. I would be mad but I actually like the Pistons and your players. I love Drummond though. I think he'll be the best player from the 2012 draft in his prime. Would trade any combination of players on the Celtics for him.

Drummond is clearly 2x the player Monroe is and that is evidenced by him putting up the identical stats in half the time

Drummond is dedicated to improving but now it's on the Pistons to HELP him improve

That means getting him a proper big man coach aka Bill Laimbeer

We're becoming your "Utah Jazz". I think we've beaten the Jazz like 1 time in the last 10 yrs lol.

Since when did Laimbeer become a big man coach? And better yet, a better one than Rogers? I'll never understand the desire to NEED Laimbeer in this organization. Rogers is doing a great job with the guys.

Great win. Was at the game, my first this season, and it was a lot of fun. Pretty much every time Bynum brought up the ball, my brother and I would predict a Drummond ally oop off a pick and roll, and we were usually right lol. Those two have such great chemistry.

I'll be moving to Virginia in February, but I'm def gonna try and see this team live a few times before I go. Especially with the cheap tickets you can get on stubhub. The crowds at the palace are getting better (although there were a decent number of C's fans) and the Pistons have been putting on a good show lately. Busta Rhymes at halftime Tuesday too

Roy Rodgers has been marvelous with our big men. I hope he is our big man coach for a very long time.

Just wanted to bring this up again...if he's at nearly 300lbs as of now, that confirms the shaq-like physique comparisons. He's at that weight and still insanely quick and athletic. Nobody was able to get up as high as him on t hose alley oops yesterday and he got an offball steal that most bigman would never get. When he fills out he's going to be a monster.
