CTFD, that's what.

We get lucky, get a win streak, improve slightly, then suffer a setback.

Didn't you listen to me in the middle of my enthusiasm explasmagorification at the start of the season when, between gasping and wheezing in amazement at our good luck, I was still predicting 42 -46 wins, with 48 as a top-out-we-had-even-more-incredible-luck scenario?

We WERE a slightly-above-.500 team, we traded pretty much everyone that got us those wins, then added a pretty good C and the best SG in the league. It put us right back to slightly-above-.500.

i really believe they need to fire morey we are stuck in mediocrity.he has done nothing nothing he gets credit for being a great gm and i dont see any results none
this team is garbage and we are not getting better any time soon
fire morey aka the wizard fire mchale trade lin -wait thats impossible who wants to pay him 25 m
thats a good start to a new beginnig fire morey fire mchale trade lin away

I mean, none of us are going to get Morey fired anyway, but you gotta think - if Alexander didn't fire DAWSON how likely is he to fire The Genius?

Seriously, "fire Morey" during what was supposed to be a rebuilding year anyway because of a 7 game losing streak when we were previously amazingly overachieving?
:nonono:

Here's a hint: GMs are not responsible for win and lose streaks - only for overall record.
(Denver's GM gets a pass...)
Morey 2020.

Q:How are they experts when they're always wrong?
A:Ask a stock market analyst or your financial advisor

soon The Hornets will be better than us.

Draft picks are not given. It's a crap shoot. Look at the top picks of the past drafts. Some players have done well, some have bombed. Even if you look at the past few #1 picks:

Kyrie Irving, yeah he's a phenomenal player. But did he improve the Cavs win%? Not much (from .232 to .318 .244 winning %).

John Wall. He was touted as a surefire franchise player. The Wizards went from .317 to .280 .303 .216. They're worse after drafting Wall.

Blake Griffin. Yeah he improved the Clippers from .232 to .354 .390. But it wasn't until they signed Chris Paul that they jumped to .606 .775.

DRose. Bulls went from .402 to .500 .500. Then after adding Thibodeau, Bulls jumped to .756 .758.

Greg Oden. I don't need to go there.
