Jennings or Holiday

Post#1 » by giraldo5 » Mon Jan 21, 2013 4:26 am

Just to help settle a debate. Combination of who you'd want this year and going forward, all things considered (salary, attitude, wahtever). If you think they are in the same tier of PG's, then say the person you prefer by a little. Thanks

Holiday by a lot, 8 times out of 10.

The other 2 times, Jennings will be having one of his awesome 25+ point games and carrying the Bucks. But he's way too inconsistent and streaky to consider over Holiday...

I had high hopes a few years ago that Jennings would develop into something better. Not that I ever thought he'd be on the CP3/D-Will level, but I thought he'd develop into a top 10 PG. Now I see he just is what he is. A 17/18 PPG scorer who's inefficient and a chucker.

This is Holiday by far.

Holiday by a long shot. Jennings has impressed this year, but Holiday is just superior in nearly every way.
PG: Russell Westbrook, Reggie Jackson
SG: Andre Roberson, Anthony Morrow, Jeremy Lamb
SF: Kevin Durant, KJ McDaniels, Perry Jones
PF: Serge Ibaka, Nick Collison, Robert Covington
Cc: Al Jefferson, Steven Adams, Kendrick Perkins, Mitch McGary

Everyone knows that holiday is playing better than Jennings this year. The 'debate' that the OP is referencing was some bucks fans saying that if you replaced Jennings with holiday that the bucks would win 8 more games, which is flat out ridiculous. Holiday is better, but he doesn't provide 8 additional wins over Jennings.

Actually i was referencing the tiers argument with Luke23. I said Holiday was a 5 or 6 win improvement, but disagreed with 8. Try again.

Maybe not you specifically, but the vast majority of discussion was centered around holiday being an 8 game improvement.
