Should I stash BOGUT?

Post#1 » by fantasygluttony » Mon Jan 21, 2013 11:30 pm

This is my team h2h 12 team 9 cat. I need Blks and A dominate rebounder. Given that GS is a legit team with the needs of Bogut to make a legit run i think it makes logical sense to stash him given my roster. I would appreciate the feedback . Thanks.... I was also thinking of adding Brand and pair him with Dirk as he is available , and drop laundry. What you think Apathy?

Westbrook
D.Will
Shumpert
D.Rose

KOBE
Kawhi
W.Chandler
G.Wallace

Dirk
Amare
Bosh
Nene
Laundry

Good idea, since he is already running 100% in pre-games. Go for it!

Nop. Dirk is going to increase his minutes so Brand value is only going to go down...

Laundry seems pretty useless to me at this point As all my bigs have a good FT% and average more REB, why not drop Laundry instead? Just curious maybe there is an angle i'm not seeing. Thanks

Dunno why you have Shumpert. Maybe your league is shrewd and there's no one available, but Shump's priy worthless. I like Brand, always have, and I was high on him coming into the year. He's disappointed but I could see him doing damage. He fits Mavs' needs, too: defense, length, rebounding, yet can also space the floor with his J.

Problem is he's dunzo as a starter. He's fouling way too much. Can't play starter's minutes fouling that much. Landry's whatever, but he doesn't hurt you anywhere.

The end of your roster blows so ya, may as well stash Bogut. Drop Shump.

Sweet, I think at this point Brand will embrace the old savy vet position and licking his chops to fill the void you just mention concerning the mavs needs. To be honest i been keeping a close on on the mavs with Dirk returning and Brand is a big spark off the Bench. And to be honest i think he is far more valuable coming off the bench.

-Carl Laundy is just and extension of my frontcourt really, talented offensive Bigs. I need more of a Defensive presence downlow. I will add Bogut ASAP and drop Laundry.

Shum- I think i will keep him as he will be a major util player for the knicks!

Final Verdict': Drop LAUNDRY , ADD Bogut

WHere do you stand with W.Chandler and NENE at this point?

Thanks!!

It baffles me that you would actually drop STAT over Landry. Did you get the memo guys? He will be a major part of the rotation. Some things just go without saying.

***STAT or LANDRY***

Anyone who says i should keep LANDRY over STAT , needs to get off that pipe.

Amare is done. You heard it here first. 3.1 fouls in 21 mpg. Non-existent rebound rate. Declining FG% for the third consecutive year. Injury + age that has robbed him of explosion. Non-existent passing or defensive ability.

In baseball when coming back from injury; timing is what you work on. In Basketball it's your legs that is the issue. STAT will be fine.

Stat is still useful. He's going to be a 15/7 player, which is not bad at all and he has good FT%. I wouldnt drop stat.

Apathy I don´t know why you keep insisting that he should trade Bosh ASAP... there is no competition in the squad for his minutes, and his rebounds numbers are only going to increase

How many times do I have to mention his absurdly unsustainable % on jump shots?

I'm a firm believer that his legs will be there soon enough. In baseball it's all about timing when coming back from Injury and in Basketball it's all about getting your legs back.

*** He might not be STAT of 5 or 10 years ago but he will put up some quality points and solid all around minus the multiple block games and high volume of REB.
