yeah I don t think the comeback of Felton will do any wonders to your team...the Knicks had a good record at the start of the season because the ball was movin and pretty much everyone has insanely hot from behind the arc (even Ronnie Brewer)...now that everyone has cooled off you can see the Knicks don t really have the potential to be a contender...they rely too much on iso plays from Melo and J.R.
and I think both teams Brooklyn and Celtic will catch the Knicks in the division

The Knicks have also been successful because we lead the league in fewest turnovers and we've been playing great team defense. Felton running the pick and role is also very important. We started out shooting the ball well, but we we're wining on defense and execution. Now that we almost have our roster healthy, it's a matter of getting everyone up to speed and the team gelling. Will be fine. We're more worried about Miami than the nets tbh.

A starting PG that is shooting 21 FG% and 12 3PT% against the Nets is the argument you will use? Really? You also said Amare was going to make a difference...He did alright. He actually, made the Knicks worse.

As a Knick fan, you are the last person to tell someone how good your season is going to get. JR is a free agent, Pablo is a free agent, Camby is a glass house signed for 3 years, Wallace has a career threatening injury and nobody is scared of the Knicks going forward with this current makeup of role players who are having a flash in the pan season.

Please, save your ignorance for someone else. It's looking really bad day by day. This thread itself is an example of how awful you guys are at trash talk.

Also, nobody is feeling good at beating the Knicks. It's a good win because we are now on a 4 game road trip with winnable games against struggling Western teams. We are also trying to catch Indiana. Beating the Knicks has zero relevance to Net fans besides tiebreaker situations. It's the bigger picture.

I don't see how anyone coming back helps the Knicks get lopez out of their head.

Like fat Felton would have saved the Knicks tonight, lol. I bet if Camby played it would have been a double digit win? And if Sheed played it would have been a blowout? Having Felton not chuck the Knicks out of the game helped you tonight.

Yeah, ok, so why do we have a great record with him starting, and a mediocre record with him not playing?

Because it was only a matter of time before the Knicks cooled down from their insanely hot season start.

The Knicks are performing well when Melo kills it and when their 3 point shooting is hot. Melo has been a beast this season and had a "quiet" game tonight and still almost had 30, but the 3 point shots weren't there for the Knicks tonight. Felton would not have helped here. I'm sorry.

lol U mad though!

Edit: It's not about Felton's shooting prowess, it's about him running the offense. Look at our record with him and without him, and tell me he's not important.

So what if JR, and Pablo are free agents? Camby and Wallace arent expected to be major contributors. Whatever they give us is a plus.

Beating the knicks means everything to the nets. You guys have an inferiority complex. fact.

Do everyone in this thread a favor and go look up Felton's numbers versus the Nets this year. Don't worry, we'll be here waiting

So? He had two bad games against the nets. Why is that important?

And the knicks have been just plain inferior.

Check the records through the past years, the nets are like 20-10 vs knicks

Just out of curiosity, have you ever visited either the Knicks or Nets Boards?

Because on your board there are pretty much literally 2 to 3 uninstigated Nets threads every week where even the ones that are ignored go at least 3 pages and the popular ones go 10 to 15.

There's at least a thread a month started about something a Knicks fan Nets Board lurker took to heart.

Sure we talk about your team here and there, most of us don't like your team at all, but there is maybe 1 or 2 threads a season started on your team and it's usually something thread worthy and relevant.

Knicks fans have an even bigger complex by far and then try to constantly push all that analogy nonsense about we're the Mets and you're the Yankees, etc., but the truth is, we've both been the Mets so far. If anything we're the Mets and you guys are the Jets.

Brooklyn with a flawed win

- Knicks shot terribly
- Nets were unreal from 3-point land
- Knicks without pg and back up center
- Nets turnovers are a problem if you have not noticed

Knicks still found a way to come back through this but continued to have trouble creating shots without Felton and they were 29% from FG...

Nets had like 20 turnovers and were shooting lights out. Still it was close today...It's a weak loss, nothing serious

If I was a real net fan, I'd hate the knicks too. It must be hard hearing knick chants in your own building.

No no no! We're the Yankees, you're lower than the mets. Even if you win a chip, New York will always be a knick town.

It also must be hard for Knicks fan to hear the BROOKLYN chants in MSG as the clock hits 0:00 and the Nets walk off the court with a Win.

http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/brookl ... 12-minutes

Once the game was over, “BROOK-LYN!” chants filled Madison Square Garden.

Also, there were a couple times when Melo was at the line late in the game when you heard distinct booing.

what is wrong with you people??...the Nets shot 42 % from the floor overall...how is that shooting lights out
also you could say the Nets had 20 turnovers and you still lost.

Odd thing to say, since there were "Brooklyn" chants in MSG at the end of the game tonight.

The Yankees actually win though...the Knicks don't.

The Knicks are more famous for getting lit up by opposing team's players than actually being good.

Hurts just as much as when my fellow cowboys fans invade a stadium and get killed on the field.

Keep clinging to that for 2 decades. It's VERY fullfilling, trust me.

Lol. I walk through new York everyday and see more people repping Brooklyn gear than knicks. And this is only after three months of the nets being in ny.

Truth is whatever team wins will get the love.

Like three people chanting? I saw the game, I didn't even hear those chants, but if you say so, fine.

Are you really going to compare fan-bases in NY? Really?
