I'm never completely satisfied with the reserves but this year I can't believe ZBO is named and not Gasol. Gasol is known to be the leading defensive player of the year but will not make the allstar game. The hypocrasy is exposed by the fact that the 1-dimensional Tyson Chandler is named to the East reserves. What's more puzzling is the naming of Chris Bosh who is experiencing career lows in points, minutes per game, rebounds, and assists. He has a career high in blocks however,

I'm just glad we have ZBO back in the allstars. We deserve to have ZBO, Gasol and Conley if it was up to me, but I'll take at least one. out of the reservesin the west:

Joining Duncan as reserves in the West are LaMarcus Aldridge (Portland Trail Blazers), James Harden (Houston Rockets), David Lee (Golden State Warriors), Tony

Aldridge stats are basically filler and we can write that off. But at least they didn't go with KEvin lovehandles or Blake Griffing!!!!! THANK GOD!!!! I would much prefer Marc Gasol over Aldridge though. David Lee absolutely belongs - he has been awesome. James Harden is a throw-in and I voted for him as the starter SG however Russell Westrbook gets much love from shiftless women and hobos.

I guess this should be an awesome game nonetheless

Griffin was named to the starting lineup for the West All-Stars. Harden deserves a nod. I wished Marc was in as well.

Griffin does not deserve to be a starter. Harden should have started, and Gasol should have made the team as well.

Who do you think should replace Rondo? I'd go with Josh Smith.

Also JVG made a good point during the Lakers game yesterday - why not have 13 players on the allstar since now NBA teams are allowed to dress 13? (except of course if you only have 11 players like the grizzlies do currently and one on the IR).

Then Curry / Gasol / Smith and perhaps brook lopez can all go
