Good Lord Alridge is on fire. Not much you can do with that when he's hitting those shots.

Just when we get a couple nice possessions in a row, we let Portland run all over us. Somehow still within single-digits though. Plenty of time to mount the comeback.

Nice thread, Jake

Unfortunately, the game is not going so nice :(

Is it just me or does it seem like the Pacers have gotten called for a number of those arm-extending clear-outs offensive fouls, yet I've seen a number that Portland hasn't gotten called for.

Just a really bad game, not much going right offensively and defensively.

It happens, especially after a great victory.

And Blazers have a lot of potential. Give them a center who can block shots and they would be really good.
Too bad they didn't have anyone good enough or bad enough to trade for when they tried to sign ours :P

You guys look like a pretty legit team this season. Sometimes the shots don't fall but obviously there's a lot more than one game to a season and the Pacers will bounce right back. I'll be rooting for the Pacers in the playoffs, I think you guys are one of the few teams that can pose a threat to the Heat.

Anyway, I'm not particularly mad about the loss. I'd like a win, of course, but we know that we are weaker on the road and do not match up well with teams that have bigs that can hit the 15 ft jump shot. LMA was on fire tonight.

The Heat, the Bulls and the Net won so we fell to the #5 seed. But it was expected that we would drop some games in the trip. If we go 1-1 against Utah and Denver I'll be satisfied.

Our homestand is approaching. If we take advantage of the homestand then we'll be in a very good spot.

So, let's forget this game and do our best to win in Utah :D

I would like to add to that a great PG who can pas the ball.
Lillard, Parker, Rondo. It's not just LMA, Duncan, Garnett IMO

I was at last night's Pacers/Portland game and was wondering why Hibbert was
only able to play effectively six minutes at a time. Is he coming off of injury or
is something going on with the team for he looked really tired after the first
quarter.

He sustained a back injury some games ago so it could be still bothering him. He also has a small nagging wrist injury.
