You could be right but I think Dickey has the numbers on his side. Personally, I don't think his age is much of a concern because he is a knuckleballer. As much as I know, knuckleballers don't regress as quickly as other pitchers/players b/c the pitch is based on location and velocity is not the reason why it's a difficult pitch to hit. If Dickey can throw it for strikes I don't see why he couldn't put up similar numbers.
I agree that his limited resume does create a question mark but he has put 3 seasons at a similar level so I'd say that the likeliness he continues the same level of play is good. I don't think it was a fluke. I'm not expecting him to win 20 games this season but I do think he should be a 15 game winner and flirting with 200 strikeouts in the season.
Where as D'Arnaud, he's been really good at every level he's played at but tons of prospects have put up great minor league careers but can't put up similar numbers in the majors. I do believe he's going to be a solid catcher for years but don't expect him to be a HOFer/generational catcher.
