They should all pitch in and cover the rest of his contract.

broussard also says the clippers want dwight, as to say we'd even consider trading him down the hall.

there's a reason broussard isn't seen that much anymore. he's the bucher of 2013, he's on his way out of espn pretty soon. that said, this wouldn't surprise me if true but i can't take it seriously because that tard is saying it.

I'm glad that you are one of the few sensible posters that isn't giving Dwight a free pass and just blaming D'Antoni. The guy keeps crying about touches and even had the audacity to run around a locker room with a stat sheet to show his lack of touches, but its blatantly obvious that D'Antoni is catering the offense specifically to get the ball to Dwight.

Don't get me wrong, I think D'Antoni is an absolutely terrible coach. His rotations sucked in Phoenix and he failed at developing our bench and younger players. He pretty much is the reason we didn't even get to a Finals with the SSOL era as Popovich made him his you know what.

However, this is now another coach that Dwight is griping about, even thought both coaches completely catered to him and his whining. Dwight, if he isn't already, is turning into one of the most cancerous players in the league.

Nobody's giving Dwight a free pass here... In fact, I'd say most people are a little too hard on him.

I think Dock just put facts to what most are feeling... Dwight's getting his touches, he just is so limited offensively at this point, he can't do a hell of a lot with them.

I think Dwight should call SVG and thank him, and ask him if there's anything he needs. Maybe a pony...
Because I think SVG and maybe even the Orlando FO did a hell of a lot to hide Dwight's deficiencies and elevate his status in the league.

Broussard = Zero credibility

Anything that the comes from him is usually proven false. The guy literally makes stuff up to stir controversy. Or just retweets other peoples stuff and takes credit for it. Also he never reports facts, its always an opinion.

If you see a tweet or news and broussard's name is on it, pass right by (dont bother wasting 2 mins of your life).

Why wouldn't Nash be leading this charge ?

They can only make it a story if they mention Kobe's name.

If Wojo ain't reporting it I don't believe it

Magic fan here (no worries, I come in peace).

Just curious if Laker fans think Dwight will approach Laker management about firing D'Antoni at the end of the season and reaching out to Stan Van Gundy. That may be his best option thinking ahead to a post-Kobe franchise (though I would be very surprised if SVG was interested).

Agree?
Disagree?

If D'Antoni even makes it through the rest of this season, then yeah, I can see Dwight asking for him to be fired in order to re-sign with the Lakers.

no ones thought that far ahead yet, we're still hung up on d'antoni. but we expect him to be gone at season's end if not before. and i think this more to do with whether or not dwight would want svg here, regardless if he were interested or not.

Steve Nash cited a lack of commitment by players in the system as one of the reasons for the Los Angeles Lakers’ struggles this season.

"We're not all committing to what they want us to do," Nash said. "We're half stuck in our own, old ways. We have to stop thinking about our pasts and ourselves.”

Nash has searched for ways to turn things around.

"I just go home at night and lie awake trying to figure it out," he said. "I keep asking myself, 'What am I not doing?'"

Asked if the Lakers can reverse course, Nash said: "That's yet to be seen, I guess. I think we have a chance. Maybe not this year. Maybe it's next year. But we have a ton of talent and an organization with great history. If Dwight stays [after this season], we have the pieces. We just have to figure out how to put it all together."

"Yet he has not one but two star centers to work with. One of them, Howard, isn't just on a different page from Nash but seems to be reading an entirely different book.

"You forget he's only 27," Nash says. "He's trying to figure it out. Figure himself out."" - From Rick Reilly's story
