They (we) for the majority don't hate Hunter.... just a few blow hards do, but they hate everything this owner/front office does.

I always thought Hunter would be a coach in the NBA since way back when he was playing. I think he will be an upgrade over Gentry as I have always thought Gentry was a bad coach. Great assistant though.

I think Huner has little to nothing to do with the 2-0. Gentry clearly lost the team and should've been fired a while ago.

I watched both games, and they are defending like I've never seen a Suns team defend before. Each player on the team seems to be giving that all out hustle and grind on defense like Lindsey was known for as a player, which I would say is a reflection of him as coach.

The media is reporting that his assistants are running practices, but that doesn't mean he can't also get his message across to them about what it takes to win, and I think he's managed the games in-game very well. In many ways thats more important than running practice.

imo, the only reason he's getting a bad rap from the PHX crowd and guys like Barkley is because he doesn't fit the typical Suns mold. But thats exactly what they need, as the typical Suns system has been proven not to work.
