Rondo? A PG that can't shoot playing SG?

yeesh...

You got to have some kind of permieter shot creator that would run pick and roll with DH, and Tyreke would be great at this role. He's got midrange game, can drive and pass. Sourrounding such pair with shooters is a necessity. Our problem right now is that Nash is our p'n'r ball handler but we have no shooters on perimeter.

You would need a terrific point guard surrounded by shooters who can defend.

With the way Kobe's been shooting, I'd take Rondo at SG.

Change your sig. You look like a clown given the way this season is going.

No. You want to fight about it?

...no, I'm just trying to help you. You look delusional with that sig.

Why do people keep bringing up Kyrie like hes not locked into Cleveland for another 5 years?

It really is incredible isn't it? Kyrie will be a Cav well into Kobe's retirement and into the very late stages of Dwight's career.

By the time Kyrie is capable of becoming a Laker or Heat or Celtic he'll be on the backside of his career. The way the league is set up now really sucks! I don't just say that because it's hurting our chances of getting the players we want I say that because it forces players to play for one team for at least half of their career before they're eligible to find a more desirable destination.

"Hey Kyrie! You've just been drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers! How do you feel about spending the next eight years of your career playing in purgatory?" "Kyrie? Kyrie? Someone call a doctor he seems to have lost consciousness"

Actually, it's becoming more rational again, fortunately. It used to be that players would play most of their career for one -or 2 at most- teams, and get the fundamentals down thru full college first. How many teams did both MJs, Bird or Duncan play on?

But back to building a team around DH: that means talking about 2014+, so it means Lakers without Kobe, Nash and likely Pau Gasol and MWP. I'd add without MDA, hopefully  In any case, the team will be nothing like the present one, and any talk right now is pure speculation. Too bad we have no decent draft picks left...

Looking forward to the game to see if D12 can bring it. follow up last game that was pretty good with an even better game. more energy, more explosiveness. At some point this year the team has to get a signature win, right?

We got the signature win but OKC did a pretty good job containing D12.

Patman wrote:You need shooters and ballhandlers around Dwight. Honestly, if the Dwight from two years ago shows up, he could take a Euro-like team to 4th-6th in the WC. After cleaning house:

C - Dwight
PF - Bargnani
SF - Gallo
SG - Batum
PG - Calderon

IMO that's a good start, and would be enough to attract another star to team up with Dwight.

Yeah, I've done quite a bit of drinking today too. You forgot to put Rondo at SG though.
