The only player I'm interested in from HOU is Asik.

If any Rockets fans want to work something out there, even if we have to take on some salaries, I'd love to discuss it.
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

I don't personally believe there is a deal here that will work for both sides.

As a side note, I love how we don't overvalue guys around here (often). I was on the Heat board and they were talking about trading Bosh to houston for Asik, Lin, & Patterson AND draft pickS. Or how Lakers fans were saying that Josh Smith, Jeff Teague and draft picks would be a good deal for Pau Gasol.

Nothing annoys me more than a delusional fan base.

Hey! Leave us delusional homers alone!

Al Horford for HOF!
Josh Smith is the next Magic Johnson!!
Nobody is faster than Jeff Teague ... quicker than Devin Harris ... prettier than our dance team.

Larry Drew is a genius . . .

(Somethings even I can't say.)

Bucks fan here coming in peace. With Lou Will done is there any Morrow deal you guys would make for Monta Ellis?

I can't imagine Atlanta wanting to take on his deal for next season though, especially if they are gambling on being a big player in fa.

Haven't checked on Monta's season but didn't he make it known that he's opting out?

So if ATL starts to trend downward, lets say 9th to 10th seed by the deadline.

Dally
MILW second
for
Harris

This gives ATL about 750K in contract savings and gets you a second round pick. Thoughts?

Pistons get: Harris, Hawks 2013 1st rounder
Hawks get: Stuckey, Bynum

I don't think we'll give Harris and our first for Stuckey and Bynum, neither has exactly overachieved this year and this wouldn't help us fill our need which is getting a Center

If Utah wanted Gasol, would you guys be interested in something around Al Jeff or Millsap for J Smoove?

based around

Gasol to Utah

J. Smith to LA

Al Jeff to ATL

maybe some fillers somewhere for salary?

I love it. Jefferson gives us more toughness/rebounding/inside scoring.
I don't think we have much of a shot at re-signing Josh; A-Jeff would be on a perennial playoff team for the firt time in his career. If it doesn't work, he walks away and we get capspace.

I'll be the first to say hell no, I respect Calderon and Davis but they aren't worth Josh, and even if Josh left via FA I'm sure we'd rather have cap room than an overpayed PG in Calderon when we already have our PG

I am actually pretty annoyed that with all our expirings, we didn't trade one of them and a 2nd round pick to Memphis for Spegihts and Ellington.

Speights>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Petro(even if he kinda has Josh's shot selection sometimes).

That's the problem. Memphis didn't want expirings, they wanted cap space.

Any chance Devin Harris is bought out before the end of the year?

I can't imagine he would be. With Lou out for the year the Hawks need Harris.
