If you listen to his weekly show, he can be short with, and condescending to Wilde. I don't think it's a huge problem, but it's worth acknowledging. I however, agree that the article that prompted this thread is weak.
I've listened to every single show this season, and I don't see that at all. In fact, they seem to have a great rapport with one another. The teasing that Rodgers tosses at Wilde is usually good natured.
I don't know, maybe I come from a different background than some of you, but where I come from, you tease and make fun of your closest friends as a sign of affection for them. You dish it out and get it in return. All of the stuff I see from Rodgers seems to indicate that he loves to tease and rag on those teammates he's closest with - Kuhn, Crabtree, Masthay, etc. He has the same relationship with Wilde. Those he doesn't seem to have a great relationship with - Finley and Jennings, for example - he is usually pretty quiet about and dances around criticizing them when he's asked to by Wilde.
I've heard most of every episode this season as well and I agree completely. Seems like they are friends or at the very least friendly.
