The Cleveland Cavaliers are already receiving trade interest from other teams in Marreese Speights.

Speights was acquired last week in a trade with the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Cavaliers have $12 million in expiring contracts.

Daniel Gibson and Omri Casspi are also candidates to be traded by the Cavaliers.

the more i think about it the more i'm glad we got Vucevic in the trade, i was one of the guys that was steadfast in thinking he could be our Starting center for the future. People here wanted Zeller, Len or other bigs but i'm not so sure those bigs will be as good as Vucevic could be here is a line that i read from an article recently.

list of active players who have averaged 11-and-11 by age 22: Howard, Blake Griffin, Kevin Love, Carlos Boozer, Elton Brand and Tim Duncan

Now there is still what 40 games left so it remains to be seen if Vuc can keep it up but he is in great company, all those guys went on to be All-Stars/Superstars

Anyone think we can make a play for Evan Turner? I admire his game and think he'd really blossom in a different environment with our system and coaching staff.

I'd love to pair him and Tyreke Evans as our future backcourt.

Evans - scorer
Turner- distributor
Harkless - defender
Nicholson - scorer
Vucevic - rebounder

*disclaimer* I only bring up Turner because a lot of 6'ers fans always complain about him.

Holy crap. Anyone else see the Thunder have two potential lottery picks in 2013 NBA draft. They own Raptors picks and Mavericks pick. They also have their own. Could see them using picks plus Jeremy Lamb to move up and get one of the big 3 Noel, Mclemore or Mohammed. They are going to be competing for NBA titles for a long time.

I wish we had their basketball minds the year after we selected Dwight. Probably already be working on our third or fourth NBA title.

The Dallas pick is top 20 protected until 2017.

Can't imagine they'll be in the market for Redick if their season is lost...

Rondo's injury could actually be really bad for us. First, it takes a potential suitor out of the Redick game. Secondly, however, it may speed up the Celtics' rebuild. The team may be more inclined to move Pierce and/or Garnett now, and may compete with us for young talent or draft picks in any trades both at the deadline and on draftnight.

So I ask you magic fans, do we trade him now because of these turns of events?

Yea I am not liking that Rondo injury. It could add another team to compete with us for ping pong balls.

Not really. If the Celtics miss the playoffs another team gets in. Still 14 teams with balls.

Damn there goes my fantasy basketball season he was my whole team
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

Yeah :( I have Rondo, Pekovic, and CP3 on one of my teams. We're hurting right now.

I got Dwil with my first pick and he has had an awful statistical season Rondo was only one keeping my team in second place

Boston are the sort of team that could scrap out a playoff appearance even without Rondo, but they're probably much better served by trading Pierce and tanking the rest of the year, and trying to retool on the fly.

I wonder if Henny is interested in acquiring Rondo from Celtics, since they really want JJ

Redick/Nelson/Ayon/future 1st rd pick for Rondo/Fab Melo

I could see Boston doing this if they wanna make a playoff push
