KINGS at Wizards

Post#1 » by HUBlackstar83 » Mon Jan 28, 2013 4:18 pm

Got some free box tix to the game tonight. This is my first time ever going to see the KINGS. I'm probably the only KINGS fan in the DC area. I hope they at least put on a decent performance. I'm expecting T-Rob to put on a good show for the hometown crowd.

Cousins has been sitting the whole 4th quarter. Down by 1 with 1:43 left

I'm honestly glad he did. He was playing with absolutely no effort in the 3rd quarter. Watching Nene and Okafor grab offensive boards and go right around him. Smart pulled him when it started to lead into bad decision making offensively. It was really disappointing to see him to revert to that after he had been playing so well.

Anyway, really a decent win otherwise.

DeMarcus even didn't get off his seat when Zeke 2.0 hit the game winner, or changed expression.

SMH, man.

As talented as he is i would really consider trading this guy for a good package.. Can't stand his attitude.. He is due for another meltdown...

I don't know that you can trade a big man that talented and that young. I'm not sure what it's gonna take to fix his attitude. The only thing that's going to do it IMO is winning. I was sitting right behind the basket on their end and you could just see his facial expressions and body language and it's just very poor. NeNe was frustrating him and man did it show. I will say he's not a bad guy, dapped him up on the way to the locker room. Bottom line, he just wants to win, and until then, he's going to be the miserable on court DMC that we've come to know.

But they won this game. That's the point. They won and he still was himself.

Exactly.

It's just so annoying. And the way he barks and handles himself even to his teammates during games when the slightest of things doesn't go exactly his way.

I don't know man. I'm sick of that crap. Mainly because I understand how you just can't a guy this talented on such an important position.

But he's just not getting it, man. I keep shaking my head seeing how he handles himself in games to his own teammates above everyone else, It's disgusting at times.

God knows how much I've defended him, but this guy needs to man up and realize the problem starts with him. He clearly has issues and needs to work through it - but it seems like he'll never make that first step to admitting there's a problem, and if he will I just can't see it suddenly happening with us.

My only hope for him right now is the (god willing) new management change from top to bottom, aswell as hopefully roster change - once\if Mastrov and Burkle become owners.

No sir, you're not the only Kings fan in DC; been one since the days of KC too. Couldn't make this year's game but have been to a few.

And there are plenty B-ball fans in this area but the Wizards and its management are the problem.

About Cousins; he just doesn't want to be in Sacramento. Maybe that could change under new ownership, management, etc. but it's written all over his face and his body language and it was a good thing that Smart left him on the bench. He needs to do it more often. He has reverted back to playing like a wing; shooting jumpers, dribble driving and turning the ball over plus he is playing without effort.

But to recap here's what he said about his recent play. He's not happy about how things have gone lately but won't come out and say who he is not happy with.

"I wouldn't even blame it on the other teams," Cousins said. "It's not that. That's not the case."

Is it his fault?

"Not me either," Cousins said.

Cousins would not say who was to blame.

"I answered it," Cousins said. "That's how it is."

Nothing is on him it seems. When was something ever on him?

He's always looking to be the victim man.

Well winning is not going to happen in sac anytime soon(so expect him to be miserable for quite some time)..and if he badly wants to win,it then needs to start with him.. I love his talent and potential but damn this kid has the worst body language and attitude in the league so far..
