Kid gets his shot blocked so much though lol.

Guys with limited length learn from that though. He'll become more crafty.

He has good length as far as wingspan.. I think his problem is still trying to rush and go fullout, instead of using a pump-fake and then trying to dunk.

He'll come around though to become a solid double-double player atleast, I never doubted it.

Said before the season right after we drafted him - he's a work in progress despite his age and despite people pegging him as the most ready player in the draft - but he has the physical and athletic tools aswell as the work-rate and motivation to become better.. that's a can't miss combo in the NBA.

He might be behind more then even I thought (had him at around 11 pts 7 rebs for the season) - but I trust he will keep making improvements throughout his career and especially in the early years.

He's showing great flashes blowing by his man and driving to the rack, with his passing once he gets that jumper in check he will be a fantastic triple threat at the elbow, and once understands to finish better he'll be a great PNR option too.

Being in the situation he's at with our organization right now does not help 1 bit too, so either way if we're staying or going that'll be a huge + to him aswell.. personally I'm fairly positive he'll be a 15-18 pts, 10+ rebs guy down the line.

How is MKG doing? There hasn't been much talk about him recently.

He broke a finger, should be back anyday.
If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.

The league should pray that Lamb never gets off. OKC is already ridiculous with Durant playing god like.

Big slam from the rook but this was a terrifying moment for me as a huge Barnes fan. Really hope his knee is going to be fine because his leg planted awkwardly.

Harrison Barnes been posterizing cats lately....he should be a candidate for the Dunk Contest!

p.s. Who was the nba scout that said Harrison Barnes wasn't athletic enough? He should get a bitch smack!

The scouts failed this year when it came to this draft class.

Anthony Davis is a Lebron-type talent, Drummond has no motor, Barnes isn't a very good athlete, Beal is the next Ray Allen, Thomas Robinson is the most NBA-ready player from the draft.

lol - I remember hearing all of these remarks over and over again pre-draft.

The scouts failed miserably this year.

Maybe it's just because I'm a tar heel fan and had the opportunity to see him on a regular basis, but what Barnes is doing really isn't a surprise to me. He always was a good run/jump athlete, he just never had the opportunity to show it in the half court since Zeller and Henson occupied the post so much
