I highly doubt it.

oh i'm sure they'll think about moving him, FOs aren't nearly as emotional as fans. four days ago the majority wanted pau gone, he plays good for two games and now he's a laker for life. heh.

he's on the trading block, just like he's been for the past 2 years. it's all a matter of if the FO can get a good enough deal.

What would be a good enough deal? I don't think Gay is a good value and Josh is only worth it from the perspective of keeping Dwight.

I concur... JSmoove is fine as wine... Ripple. And should be priced accordingly.

I think ( . Y . ) would be a great fit off the bench in LA.

tried my hand on this one: http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=aajdbgs

Lakers in/Cleveland out: Daniel Gibson, Omri Casspi, Josh Selby
Lakers out/Cleveland in: Chris Duhon, Steve Blake, Robert Sacre, Darius Morris

Cleveland gets a bigman since they lost Varejao and gives them more size to go along with Zeller, Thompson, and Speights. they also get a combo guard that can complement Irving and Waiters. Duhon will probably ride the pine and Blake can still be serviceable.

Lakers gets younger. they add another shooter in Gibson, a scorer ala Nate Rob in Selby (well at least in the summer league), and Casspi when healthy can be a decent back up 2 and probably give the same impact as Rudy Fernandez when he was with Portland and Denver. also, Gibson and Casspi are expirings.

scrubs for scrubs (except for Sacre imo). it's the 2 year contracts of Blake and Duhon that I'm concerned with. not sure if Gilbert will take those. small moves but hey, it's not as if we're depending heavily on those guys we gave away. plus, 2 roster spots open.

Boston is now moving into deconstruction mode ...

Steve Blake (1 year, 4 mill ... after this year) for JET (2 years, 10 mill ... after this year)

We get our second teamer that can fill it up.

IN what world are Toronto going to make the playoffs being 5 games behind the 8th seed?

Bynum will play for the 76ers soon
Washington is on a solid run and even Detroit are ahead of them.

Hes been playing great for the bucks as of late, but im still sure theyd trade him for pau. the player im referring to is ersan ilyasova. if you go to the bucks board, youll see plenty of threads created by bucks fans looking to trade ersan + 1 of dunleavy, harris, udoh, or udrih for gasol

why either team does it? gasol would be a marquee post player for the bucks. he'd cement their inside scoring while still having play makers/shooters in the backcourt
la's reasoning, ersan is a more prototypical stretch 4 than gasol. hes also more mobile, can rebound at a high clip, and most importantly, he knows how to off ball screen. no one on the lakers, other than nash, sets off ball screens. this would be such a huge benefit to our offense.

Would you do this deal on your end?

If not what needs to change?

Bulls

Trade-Boozer/2013 1st
Recieve-Kevin Martin/Epke Udoh

Reason-Get rid of Boozers contract, bring in a quality 2 and Big

Bucks

Trade-Ellis/Udoh/Illyasova/Moute

Recieve-Boozer/J Lamb/Ebanks/Tor 1st(OKC)

Reason-Young team dropping talent, taking on Boozer all in efforts for more picks

Lakers

Trade-Gasol/Meeks/Ebanks

Recieve-Ellis/Illyasova/Perkins

Reason-Move Gasol and his large contract for more role players to take minutes off the starting lineup. Illyasova starts and is a compliment to Dwight. Ellis takes 30 mpg off the bench from Kobe/Nash and keeps them fresh. Perkins is a great 2nd big.

Thunder

Trade-Martin/Perkins/Lamb/Tor 1st
Recieve-Gasol/Moute/Meeks/Chi 1st

Reason-Give up Youth to get a legit scoring center on the block. Toronto pick is key in getting Bucks involved. If dunleavy needs to be sent that way to make this work fine. Moute is the best on ball defender in the league. And is obviouly in this trade to wear down lebron in a 7 game series.

we're not handing okc a 2 year dynasty and a championship. let westbrook and his fashion sense win them a title on their own.

With the way Pau has been playing you can't trade him now. He has been great in his new role as 6th man off the bench. I think if we do make a trade it will be something small like moving Ebanks or Morris for a second round pick. Or maybe try to package one of them along with someone else like Meeks or Duhon for a wing to improve the bench.

TO said to be looking to move Lowry - after giving up a nice pick for him. I would bet if BOS can't find a replacement PG then they will move out some major guys, and be setting up deals for them as Plan B even while trying to salvage the year.

Too bad, very tough break but looks like it's time to rebuild

Sources also believe that a trade involving the Raptors and Grizzlies could expand to other teams.

there's our opening, get it done mitchell & ness. raps would take gasol.
