- says shabazz is a superstar, then says shabazz will be the best shooting guard in the league.
- when projected 5 years ahead, he talks about sessions, gordon and tyrus as good bench depth, three players who will probably be long gone in 5 years
- says bobcats have one thing the thunder dont - a good center with mullens. WHAT? the thunder gave us mullens because they knew he couldnt defend or score in the paint.
- says biyombo is like serge ibaka, except the fact that ibaka has a jumper

I also think that Steve Martin, Kemba, Hendo, and Biz are posting here with us. I mean am I wrong Fats/ Swedd, or did the knicknames Crash, Biz, and Hendo not get coined on this board? I might have imagined it, but I did a double take one night, because I could have sworn I heard Steve scream out," Mount Biyombo makes the block! "

i would be surprised of the local media involved in covering the cats as well as some members of the organization dont occasionally check this board, as well as other cats boards. i know that if i was covering the cats or working for the cats i would check here, bcp, queencity, RoF, twitter, observer, dx, hoopshype, sheridan hoops, ball dont lie, grantland and team site on a daily basis. realgm is definitely well known in basketball circles, in some towns more than others for local teams - such as toronto and portland.

as for the nicknames, im cant remember exactly where the crash moniker was spawned. i could have sworn it was here, but im not 100% sure. but that doesnt mean that uncle steve picked it up from here. we have a lot of posters that cross post on other boards where nicknames float from board to board and on to twitter and other forms of media.

i dont think we can take credit for biz or hendo. those are names that anyone would easily attach to those players on their own, not anything unique.

and there have been plenty of unique nicknames coined here that ive never heard on broadcasts or nationally - amazingly hammer never made it outside of the message boards. some others - toodles, turtle, rocky, one-armed bandit, mcminus, pillow etc... then again, half our nicknames are straight up derogatory, so there is no chance they would make it on to a broadcast. i mean, can you see uncle steve yelling "toodles" when okafor missed a dunk?
