Belated Hello to the Board

Reading Eddie J's intro post it occurred to me I should have done similar myself. So -

56 year old british Columbian, played ball my whole life, first big hero was JWest and was a lakers fan right through the Showtime/Rambis Youth years - went to one game at the Forum even and had my Lakers keychain blessed by Jack, seriously - then lost interest in the NBA for a number of years and got lured back in by Nash going back to PHX. Been a regular poster at the Suns board but honestly, a great bunch of guys there, finally couldn't take what Sarver and his cursed FO did to the team. Too painful to enumerate .... I can't even think about it without wanting to break things.

Followed Nash here. Was really happy when he chose LA. Happier to see the team finding their way now

People named John who live in BC are sort of the best kind of people.

Anyhow, I know why you stopped following the NBA. It was called the Grizzlies. If you want to use the verb form, you could say you got Stu Jacksoned.

Actually, the Grizz got me back in ... then i got Jacksoned, and no lube.

i'm definitely about to go off topic sorry op, but i can't get over that quote. i'm still laughing at it. communicating a threat is definitely a crime, plotting rape pretty sure will get you a felony on us soil, and all said to an ex-moderator of all people :rofl:

but the best part is that he's still here.

i don't want anyone to get banned but damn was the ball dropped.

i've seen many a stuff on the internet in my day, been on many a of forums. i've never seen anything as ballsy and lulzy as that. legendary status in my book, all hail poorboy.
