I thought the Rudy Gay trade rumors were dead after the Grizzlies cleared cap space but if it's alive then I hope we are in pursuit. I know many of you might not like what Gay could add to our team but I think he could contribute to our future success.

I don't think we'd be able to put up a better offer than the Raptors though. They are putting Jose Calderon, Ed Davis, and possibly Terrence Ross on the table for Rudy Gay and Darrell Arthur. That's too much for Gay considering his bloated contract if you ask me even though I like him.

...and Rudy Gay just hit a game winner against the Sixers.

Would be a huge mistake for them to trade Calderon, Davis and Ross for Gay. They've been patient with Davis this entire time that hes been terrible, and then he finally shows his potential and they plan on sending him off.

Ross is also an intriguing project that has shown nice flashes of potential this year for them.

Calderon is expendable, but not if they plan on, or want to try sending Lowry to the Celtics.

I see why Raptors fans hate Colangelo so much.

DeRozan and Gay would make up the most overpaid wing duo in the history of the NBA.

klay is going bonkers on the cavs tonight. 30 pts after 3 quarters - 6/6 from three.

drummond with 12/11 in 13 first half minutes - yet amazingly was -7. hard to believe you can dominate 13 like that statistically and have your team still get outscored by 7pts in the process. what the hell were the other 4 guys doing?

^ That's crazy. That's probably going to get some recognition whenever Stern makes his decision for who takes over for Rondo in the All-Star Game. :(

drummond finished with 18/18 and 2 blocks in 27 minutes. we should probably stay away from the GB for a few days, at least until MKG scores over 12 again.

It would not be surprising at all if Drummond is as good as Dwight Howard some day.

What a wild finish in Portland, Aldridge hit a three to tie it and then a two to win it!

Drummond has definitely been good, but stat lines don't tell the whole story. Detroit actually moves the ball on offense, and have great interior passing whether that be Stuckey, Bynum, or Greg Monroe. I just got done watching about 10 full game highlight videos of Drummond.

Almost all of his points either come from Alleys, Offensive tip ins, or players actually driving and dishing to him. I will give him credit for having good hands and he is very athletic to make some of those plays happen, but if I were him I would be happy we didnt draft him because we don't have the type of ball movement that makes him successful now and we would count on him to score in the post, which Detroit doesn't at all.

Some of things I pointed out in the predraft conversation still hold true too in that he can't hit free throws and he fades away from basket instead of going towards basket especially on putbacks that arent dunks.
