Re: Wilson Chandler
He's due back Jan 13th vs Golden State. The way I see it, GK will keep his minutes low for 2-5 games, then increase them in February
He will probably take 4 mins each from Brewer, Gallo and Faried to start with. I think JHam will be fighting for a roster spot now that Stone and Chandler are healthy (pretty sad really).
To begin with, I would expect minutes to be:
PG - Ty - 35, Dre - 13
SG - Iggy - 35, Dre - 13
SF - Gallo - 20, Brewer - 22, Chandler - 6
PF - Faried - 30, Gallo - 12, Chandler - 6
C - KK - 22, McGee - 26
Also, the team chemistry is good (have won 10 of last 14 games with more coming at home), bringing Chandler in good be detrimental. I think there are 3 main trade candidates:
Iggy - do we keep him and pay him 16 mil next season?
Brewer - cheap and value is high, he could get more money in FA
Chandler - good sized contract if healthy

Hopefully he can regain his old form. If Iggy isn't back we will need chandler.

I really cannot see Iggy declining his Player Option next year for a guaranteed 15.9 million, his market value is not as high as it was 3 years ago. MAYBE Masai can convince Iggy to decline his player option and sign a new multi-year deal instead - something like 3 years at 34 million (10, 11.5, 13) - which saves us money next season:
Really, we have until Feb 21st to see how good Chandler looks

Re: Wilson Chandler
Going to be getting some minutes at the 3 & 4, possibly at the 2 if he plays well enough that the Front office feels comfortable moving brewer to open up minutes for Hamilton. Love Brewer and his energy but I think it is time to move in a different direction and our outside shooting is holding us back from becoming an elite team.

I love C Brew, Trade Chandler and pay him some money. He has hustle and heart, just like both the Andres and Faried.

Has a terrible basketball IQ as well.
I'm all for using Brew for 10-15 mpg (going up to 20 on good nights) because he should only be used as an energy player.
But if Karl is going to make him sixth man and give him major minutes at the end of games, it'd be best that he is traded while his value is up and to fix the offensive problems that we have.

I used to get real excited about the prospect of Chandler coming back and helping out......then he'd run off to China or get hurt again.

I have counted probably three times this season that Brewer has been on the court in the 4th quarter for more than 6 mins. Sometimes he comes on with under a minute left for defensive purposes. He won't be a 6th Man on this team with Dre and McGee around. He is basically used in 8-12 minute spurts between the 1st-2nd qtrs and 3rd-4th qtrs.

So what your saying is, the reason we are not an elite team, is because Iggy, Ty, Gallo, Brewer, JHam are all shooting under 40% 3PT, so we trade Brewer?

Fantasy bball question. Wil had a good first game but only played 20 minutes. Do you guys think this will be the norm? I want to pick him up but am hesistant due to his lack of consistent minutes plus your logjam at sf with him back.

From what I seen Chandler played most of his minutes at PF, I do not see his minutes changing soon as he is still not really in game shape and there is too much of a minute crunch right now.

Re: Wilson Chandler
What's the obsession with trading Chandler? Why trade a good player on a good contract? Only worth it if you're packaging him for a star upgrade...a player that would be the clear-cut best on the team.

Re: Wilson Chandler
I wouldn't call it an obsession, it's just that he's always injured and perhaps our biggest trade asset outside the starters.
But his return has been very good. Just having a guy that can create his own shot off the dribble and make some 3s has helped this team immensely. I also forgot that he's a decent defender.

yea, the nuggets need chandler as he can play a few positions, this also cuts back on brewers minutes which is not a bad idea as he can still be very productive with less minutes...
and why not wait and continue to let his stock rise, I agree don't move him unless we can get a huge upgrade..

Hey I'm a sixer fan and Chandler would interest me on our team. Sixers have Nick Young and Dorell Wright both expiring, and could add more.

Why Wilson played only 8 minutes last game and appear that he will be a DNP-CD in today´s game.
