Balance can be improved through training, Biyombo's coordination and rock hands obviously needs work. I think Biyombo should just stick to what he's good at, blocking shots and becoming more an enforcer on defense and making his presence felt. If he can build confidence through that, I feel the rest of his game will come together.
I'm high on Biyombo because his physique and potential is always something to consider. He should watch nonstop tapes of Ben Wallace and turn himself into that. I don't think Biyombo will ever become an offensive player and Bobcats should look into acquire an offensive big man who can score in the paint to help them get easier buckets than rely on getting scoring from Sessions, Gordon and Walker.

B. They're not "bad habits" that's his actual game: pound the ball, take a crazy off balance jumper, drive to the hole with no clue what you're going to do and get it blocked or bounce it off your knee. no spacing, no ball movement, be the man. He got away with it at UConn. In the NBA he's quickly becoming a poor mans Nate Robinson. Kemba Chucker is not a starting pg or sg in the NBA.

Re: The Bismack Biyombo Thread
I was almost about to lose all hope for Biyombo until recently. He's been doing a good job of positioning himself to block shots the past couple of games. He definitely has been making his presence as an enforcer. His offense still has some ways to go but at least he's finishing point blank layups lately.

Kemba's not a pg, he's a high scoring undersized combo guard. Now that we discussed your man crush do you care to discuss the actual thread topic; Biz' awful hands and coordination, or do you just wish to continue to hijack the thread?

I would package Kemba Chucker and Gerald to Boston for Rondo and their #1 in a heartbeat.

Although annoying, that has no bearing on his game, unlike his manos de piedras.

Can we ban this troll? He never states anything positive. He's a Raptors fan that comes here only to throw shade.

So would just about everyone in the universe.

Anyone else notice that Biz often directs players where to be on defense? That's pretty impressive considering he's a 20 yo kid from the Congo.*
*if he is actually directing them properly

Oh the irony.
Of course you would. I'd package Byron Mullens and Hakim Warrick to get Demarcus Cousins, but it wouldn't happen.Leolovinliberal wrote:I would package Kemba Chucker and Gerald to Boston for Rondo and their #1 in a heartbeat.
Biz is still highly erratic. He could make a turnaround low post shot on one possession and then go on defense and block a shot and then airball a 6-foot hook shot. The talent's there, it's just that he's so damn erratic.catch20two wrote:I was almost about to lose all hope for Biyombo until recently. Re: The Bismack Biyombo Thread
Biz has been playing really well of late. He is grabbing rebounds, blocking shots, and actually scoring a little bit. Obviously he is young and still really raw, so he is going to have those 3 bad plays per game.
Over his last 4 games he is averaging rougly 30 minutes, 10 rebounds, 3.5 blocks, and 5 points per game.
Also, I feel like Adrien did a good job of getting Biz the ball in the paint in good position. Wish our guards could do the same thing.

It's so lazy to refer to anyone that has an opinion that differs from your own as a "troll". How am I a troll exactly? I am a Raps and Bobcats fan. My two favorite teams.

Re: The Bismack Biyombo Thread
i want to see the guards force feed biz at least 2-3 times per half, results be damned. he has to get used to being an offensive threat. he'll never get there with only 1 or 2 put back chances per game. with more touches he will get more comfortable with the ball and not make so many stupid mistakes as a result of being too anxious.

Exactly. Same thing should be happening for MKG.
I would rather see this then Henderson taking contested Midrange shots all night or Sessions taking any shot outside of 12 feet
