really appreciate the help guys but as I have said, we're really busy with work and we don't have the luxury of taking a leave since our bosses (well mine) depends on me to do a lot of stuff and does not trust anybody.

well then why dont you just like taker her to dinner and then promise to do something when youre not so busy. seems like the most logical thing if youre both that busy, and she should understand.
