it'd be a god damn miracle if the big three on the Nets all play well this game.

I see us staying in this game right from the jump. Maybe even had a medium sized lead most of the game. A number of runs each way. But I don't think we'll hang on and will find ourselves down about 6 to 8 with about 4 minutes left in the 4th after Miami goes on some sick 14 to 3 run in like 3 minutes. Probably cut it to like 1 or 2 with about 2 minutes left but lose by 5 to 7 after intentional fouling in the last 40 seconds.

Hopefully I'm wrong and it goes basically the exact same as above but with us winning.

Have a pretty good feeling about this one. Although, I know LeBron is going to try and score 60 I think we win...similar to the first Knicks/Nets game.

Concerned about Evans starting . He can't defend Bosh or Haslem taking mid-range jumpers and scoring with Reggie is not ever going to happen.

Not going to win against good teams with Evans starting. Not too optimistic about this one.

I'm OK with him starting as he would create added misery to the Heat's rebounding problems (more rebounds = more possessions). Though I agree with Paradise that he shouldn't play a lot of minutes... paging PJ!

D-Will has flu-like symptoms but is probable for the game. Was originally questionable.

Bosh didn't practice today with a big toe injury. It evens out.

I don't think we can beat a good team that has scouted/prepared for the Nets with Evans in the starting lineup especially when he also plays 25+ minutes to boot. Thats 25+ where he have trouble to generate good offensive possesions. I mean we can still score but it's painfully harder.

He was great at the beginning of his starting lineup stint now it's run it course in my opinion. It gotten scouted time to figure out something different.

He's not that bad on offense. The problem is, his defensive effort is poor now and he's not finishing strong enough. I think that comes from lack of energy from playing too many minutes. This is a game where Reggie can and should be useful against Haslem considering they aren't a good rebounding team.

On a side note:

Gotta love New Yorkers

He's quite possibly the worst offensive player of all time. What are you watching?

Of course, he's a bad offensive player but he's issue now has been finishing. He's not thinking and he's starting to do things out of his element.

Example: He had a wide open layup but passes it to Brook and it intercepted. A week ago, he takes that layup and finishes it strong or draws a foul.

That's my point, sure he sucks as a offensive player but what's making him kill the starting lineup is him not finishing and playing too scared.

MY biggest issue with him is the fact, he's not even giving the proper effort he's supposed to on the boards. He grabbed 10 rebounds but in all honesty, they were empty stats since there wasn't any meanginful impact with those rebounds.

His pick and roll defense has suddenly turned putrid over the last week when at one point, he was the best pick and roll defensive big we had when Lopez was out.

He's not the only big that's suddenly struggling at the sametime. Blatche also has been garbage on both ends. Quite frankly, I think the Evans/Blatche off the bench combo suited them best and it needs to come back. I don't get why PJ didn't go back to that. None of them are starters or have the confidence of a starter.

Reggie needs to come off the bench and play against bench competition. That's where he belongs and everyone knows this.

Hump and Blatche seem to fight each other for touches here and there in the second unit as well, so replacing Hump with Evans would help there.

I completely agree...I'm not saying Reggie cannot play starter like minutes, but he is so much more effective coming off the bench for the reason you just explained...

I rather see Hump start and play smaller minutes or just start the freaking mostar!
