Okay. I will re-post.

I will never forget "THE BLOCK!".

However, it's time to move on. Thanks for everything, Tay!

Sums it up for me. I will always appreciate Chauncey/Rip/Tay/Sheed/Big Ben and will always be proud to have been able to watch a team so special in terms of chemistry. I know Tay/Rip had some problems with coaching/management the past few years, but I don't care. I will always remember the block on Reggie Miller, on Turkoglu's dunk in the playoffs, and the game winning three vs. the Lakers in the regular season.

Tay is a piston for life. I hope we retire #22 when he hangs up the sneakers.

"The Block" will always be remembered as one of the most famous plays in Pistons history. That fact it helped lead to a championship is even better.

He was a role player then and remains one now. But it was time to move on and I'm glad he landed on a good team.

Provided Memphis doesn't blow it up further.

I was wondering where my thread went.

I thought Tay was the most solid starter we had. He's going to be missed more than we realize but I'm happy he got traded to a contender. I hope they go all the way but only if Billups & Hill aren't contributing for the Clips!!

One of the few moments I will never forget in my life. I hope Grizzlies can surprise people this year.

And there it is, the last piece from our legendary 2004 team is gone. I hope the Drummond/Monroe era will be as good as that one.

Prince is my favorite player, wish him the best in Memphis.

Looks like we are all aboard the tank right now. We have serious free agency money.

We only owe Stuckey 4 million next year if we cut him I believe. He's tradable with his contract next year too. I agree though, I'm sick of Stuck.

Definitely going to be weird to not see Tay in the "starting at sf" spot. The man is responsible some of the best times of my life as a sports fan. I wish nothing but the best for him.

One great Piston. Great move for the team and the player. Best of luck getting a 2nd ring with the Grizz.

Yeah Tay deserves the thread. I'm OK with the trade but there's definitely some sadness here.

I will always be fond of of Tay. A core member of my favorite all time NBA team. He was a perfectly fitting piece to that championship puzzle.

As many others have mentioned I will always remember "the block." Was @ Conseco sitting about 15 feet away and witnessed it personally. Still have no idea where the hell he came from, or how Rip ran the ball down to regain posession (a very under-rated part of the play). Reggie was all by his lonesome on that side of the court when he picked up the ball. A truly legendary play that will always live in infamy for me personally.

Thanks for everything Tay, all the best to ya Playa.

Hot damn, wow that is crazy! I really though Tay would be a Piston for life!

Dude was the ultimate glue guy and he'll be missed but its time to move on!

Good luck dude!

I'm honestly shocked by this. Never thought we would trade the dude, was it time? Yea. Kind of bummed out, but the team needs to move forward without him.

Am I bummed out all we get in return for Daye and Tay is Calderon? You betcha, but asking for more just isn't realistic apparently.
