I'm okay with this loss.

Denver and Oklahoma match up with us better than anyone else in the league. It's difficult to win in Denver as is. It was close, and certainly entertaining enough.

That being said, I agree that Mchale's rotation management at the beginning of the fourth was troublesome, but if you can't execute a good half court set in a close game, you lose. With no post presence on the offensive end and Parsons trying to do too much during that stretch of nadir during the fourth quarter, we neither had the means or the fortune to match up properly.

This is one of those times, and there are more than a few of those this season, that I wish we still had Scola.

What's the site that gives +/- stats for different combinations of players on the court again? I wonder if instead of letting George Karl play small, what would happen if we went really big and put Smith and Asik on the court at the same time with a Lin/Harden/Parsons to round out the 5.

Tough loss. Had a 3 pt lead at the start of the 4th quarter, and were still in the game only down 4 with 3 mins left. But Nuggets just got really hot in the 4th, Rockets played hard and moved the ball. I'm not too upset about the loss. The officiating was wack/inconsistent both ways.

He stole that move from Chris Paul. If that was CP3, I'd ridicule him for flopping. But since he's on the Rockets, I'll call it a savvy veteran move.

Thought the same thing ~ we needed Lin out there. When they put him back in - I was thinking.. he just doesn't have enough time ~ if we went into OT perhaps but it was a little too late by the time they put Lin back in.

asik was rebounding so well too. im wondering if he sits so long because he's tired, or because mchale just likes playing small.
