idk why people are so rowdy to dismiss OP's assessment.

Shump hasn't been a lockdown defender. Remember... he was only a rookie last year... he wasn't some vet proven to be a great stopper.

Then again he is coming off knee surgery and isn't in top form.

Shump is the new landry (a good rookie with a lot of upside who eventually disappoints himself to Canada) isn't as crazy as you homo's are making it seem.

It's going to take a while for Shump to get his lateral quickness back, but when he does I expect him to fully impact the game on the defensive end like he was doing last year.

And Iman impacted the Boston game. He hit some crucial 3's in the first half to kill Boston's momentum.

All this could be true but the timing of this thread is (Please Use More Appropriate Word). If you want to wait till 5 games in next season then I'll say okay. But to start a thread 5 games after the guy returned from an ACL injury is beyond stupid.

shump got clowned by redick off sets for 7/7fgs with like 4 3pt shots where shump was not even within a 10 foot radius of redick.

Beyond stupid, really? If it's so damn harsh to criticize him after surgery then why is it so easy to start him? Everyone on this board is bent over for Shump. Someone starts to think "wow, maybe he isn't really that good," and you guys go berserk.

All this time following his twitter account and buying into his knickstape sh*t made you believe he's really a force. What has he done to back up the words you've been following/praising?

So we as Knicks fans need to wait an entire year until we call someone out on being non-productive?

While I think he is made out to be more than he is because he is young, cool, and in NYC, I think he is much more productive than Fields will ever be. Iman has been hit with a couple of injuries, one was bad. I do not think Landry was ever injured, and if he was, I never noticed. So I think we should give Iman the benefit of the doubt.

So injuries aren't taken into account at all?

If it's a major injury I usually wait at least 10 games in before evaluating. But hey it's your own personal judgement, if you think 5 is enough than that's on you.
