He was listed at 6-6 his entire career which was likely his barefoot height. It would be impossible for him to be only 6-4 or even 6-5 and measure out at 6-8 in a mugshot unless he wasn't standing flat on the floor.

If this is true then what does that make Ewing & Olajuwon?

Dwight Howard on the other hand, is a center that is officially listed by the NBA at 6'11. But his height looks very comparable to Mitch Kupchak & Bill Russell, both "listed" at 6'9.

yeah that pictures his real mugshot, and barkley is legit 6'6 no shorter.

Ok, I definitely jumped the gun on the photoshop thing, but this is definitely not a reliable source of height. I think it's pretty obvious Barkley isn't 6'7", much less 6'8". Slouching doesn't add height.

Edit: I do question why all of the numbers in the background are the same font except for the 9 on 6'9" doesn't match the other 9.

I thought it was rather common knowledge that Olajuwon's height has been inflated throughout his career and I believe he admitted that a few times, he's never been close to being a 7-footer even by NBA standards but I guess early on they had to hype the "twin towers" (by the way Sampson's height was exaggerated as well, he was not 7'4").
If I had to guess, I'd say that both him and Patrick were around 6'9" without shoes. All the while, a guy like Bill Walton insisted on being listed at 6'11" despite easily being over 7 feet tall barefoot. :lol:

Durant has kind of a bad posture, I think his real height is 6'11 on shoes. That doesn't mean a lot, since he has narrow shoulders and long arms, probably his standing reach is higher than most 7 footers. I read somewhere he has a better standing reach than Tyson Chandler and Dirk Nowitzki.

Durant measured for pre-Draft at 18, I think he might have grown half an inch to a full one since then. He was measured at 6'10.25 then, so...

It used to be 6'7, then in the last 10 years it's 6'6. Now people say he's closer to 6'4.

Dwight and Pau's shoulder heights look pretty similar... that is more relevant than true height.
