i don't care what they have to do to get rid of these three players. But please just do it. Wallace passes up way too many shots, misses layups, can't guard anyone, doesn't rebound. I see no difference between Gerald Wallace and Ronaldo Balkman.
Humphries has to be the worst signing and should get Billy King relieved of his duties. The Lopez and Humphries tandem never got it done in prior years so that signing was perplexing. Humphries is the worst team defender I've ever seen. He and Evans has to have the highest percentage of missed shots.
Evans couldn't dominate the D-league. When he's out there it's 4 on 5 on offense. And he has no shot-blocking capabilities.
I know we wanted to play these guys so to build their value for a trade. But when we play teams over .499 they actually have NBA talent at the PF and SF position. Let's cut our losses and have them ride the bench.

Y No include Marshon?
Humphries will be moved either this season or over the summer. He got that money b/c he was supposed to be included in the Howard deal.
I really think Humphries + Marshon for Ben Gordon would be a decent move for both teams. He's on a similar deal to Hump's, but provides proven scoring off the bench. Getting rid of Hump helps to clear the logjam at PF.
Now start Teletovic and give him 25+ minutes a night. Give the scrap minutes to Evans off the bench who can play along side Blatche still.
As for Wallace, I don't think we necessarily have to move him, but maybe change his role. HOPEFULLY Toko will take that role and Wallace will come off the bench next year. Or maybe it's Bogs next year (not sure what his status is).
How about this lineup?
Williams/Watson/Taylor
Johnson/Gordon/Bogans
Toko/Wallace
Teletovic/Evans
Lopez/Blatche
It sucks to say this but I don't think there's much hope this year. I think this team is going to be a lot better next year once they get bounced out of the playoffs, realize they're not playing to their true potential, get a new coach who can instill new philosophies and dynamics, and make some minor changes to the roster.
But in all honesty, the whole situation with this team will improve once Williams and Johnson can play consistent basketball.

No one is saying Toko and Tele are the cures...but Evans not finishing under the rim, Wallace continuing to pass up open jumpers, driving and kicking back out, and Hump doing everything wrong is clearly not the answer.
Can't expect Williams and Johnson to flourish if Evans' man and Wallace's man isn't worried about them offensively.
Getting blown by every playoff team means a 4-1 series ouster.

Humphries and Evans do suck, and they're really not supposed to be out there for 20+ mpg. They're energy bigs off the bench that will rebound. Both of them are average at best defensively (usually horrible though), and they both suck offensively (Humphries less so). The only reason to play them is to make sure we don't get murdered on the glass...but that's been happening anyway, so I don't understand why they're even getting playing time at this point. Overall, I really wouldn't mind giving them 10-12 mpg off the bench. But starting, playing 20+ mpg? That's terrible.
Wallace has been a massive disappointment this year, and I actually support moving him to a 6th man role off the bench. But as long as you play 4 competent offensive players with him, he's not a liability at all anymore, he can actually be useful as a slasher and as a passer on offense, because there's more room for him to operate. His defense is going to get better, I'm sure of it, he suddenly went from playing excellent defense early in the year to shockingly average in recent games. He's a better defender than he's shown.
Bottom line, I think Wallace is still a capable starting SF, but he's very flawed, especially at this point in his career. And you simply cannot play him with Humphries or Evans, because the offense plays 3 on 5 at that point. He's so much more effective when Tele is in with the starters.
TLDR:
-Evans and Hump are in no way starting-caliber big men, and should be limited to 10 mpg off the bench
-Wallace can still be useful, but he can't play with Evans or Hump
-Tele should start

Wallace is not useful as a starter because he misses too many lay ups...A slasher that can't finish or get to the line is not useful if he also can't spread the floor and keep defenders honest. I remember a few times that he wouldn't even hit the rim on a shot.
Evans has no idea what a pump fake is...and I've seen him throw countless air ball layups...
Humphries (and Evans) are one of the worst NBA players in the league...They must have great agents. And they're killing the team.
As for Billy King...giving up a first rounder for Wallace? Resigning Humphries? Trading for Evans??? Not getting at least one athletic big? The only one we have (Willie Reed) is in the D-League.
