What's the problem here?

Are they simply just a mediocre team?

or

Do they still need time to gel?

Nice username there.

It's both right now and more. They're killing bad teams and are terrible against good teams, so at this stage they are mediocre.

They need time to gel (see 2010-11 Heat). Deron needs surgery and rest. They need to make changes to the rotation. They need to get a solid sixth man. They need a new coach who can reevaluate this team.

I had somewhat high expectation for this season -- 3-5th seed in playoffs with maybe 44-50 wins.

Next year my expectations are 1-3 seed and 50+ wins.

It's a team that isn't consistent enough and doesn't stick to their principles. The funny thing is, they play up to the Knicks and Celtics but I find they play scared against other teams.

It's actually, 10-19 now.

We're a talented team with pretty limited basketball IQ, from the coaches to the players. As a result, we can beat bad teams, because we're just more talented, but against better teams that can match up to our talent, we're slower and dumber and don't execute as well, which is why we lose.

It's not that complicated, and I don't really see it changing until we get a new coach.

I really think we're going to get murdered in the 1st round of the playoffs.
