That's it.

He's prob the 7th best SF in the game.

So name 5 Western conference SF that are without a shadow of a doubt absolutely better than Gallo. It should be easy if he is just a role player as his haters claim.

Gallo is the greatest SF in the galaxy. He will average 34ppg at his peak which is the next 10 years. No doubt he will eclispe Larry Bird as the greatest shooter of all time. He is a goddamn legend.

Sorry. I'm relaxed. I quoted you but I was really intending to speak some of the other posters. My bad.
My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point. :D

If there was an And 2 feature I would have clicked it. Gallo is definitely the best draft pick that the Knicks received since Patrick Ewing. When Donnie Walsh and the Knicks selected him back in 2008 I kept saying to myself that this was the guy that was going to be the next Dirk Nowtizki, the potential superstar that would get the Knicks back into relevancy and potentially lead the Knicks to the Promised Land.

Gallo is working wonders with the Denver Nuggets and proving to us why we should have traded Landry Fields in the Melo deal rather than him. The Knicks were on the verge of finishing the 2010-11 as an elite team before Gallo was dealt. He is now making another team elite. I think letting go of Gallo was just as bad as when the Knicks let go of Bernard King.

Do you really think the Nuggets preferred Landry "Shook Ones" Fields to Gallo? Gallo has the most upside out of anyone we gave up. And just stop with comparing letting go of Bernard King to Gallo. You need to reevaluate yourself.

There were few people before the Melo trade that predicted Landry Fields' production to decline. He still had value before that trade. There were a number of Knicks fans that were relieved when they found out that Fields wasn't included in that deal.

A team of Gallo, Melo and Stoudemire would have been almost as good as Miami's big three, just like Bernard King and Patrick Ewing on the Knicks would have been almost as good as Jordan and Pippen.

So you're essentially saying Melo/STAT/Gallo > Melo/STAT/Chandler. Yeah I don't agree with that at all.

Knicks94 is one of those clingy fans that overrates every decent past Knick player just because they didnt turn out to be Michael Sweetney or Lavor Postell. He also seriously believes Lin will average 20/10 someday. Just pat him on the head and whistle down the street.

They are about the same in terms of production value.
