Russy must be difficult to play with. i think he would have been traded if he weren't so talented.

I don't overrate every former Knick player that showed flashes of decency in past. I still think that Landry Fields and Toney Douglas are bums, Nate Robinson is a clown and Trevor Ariza and Channing Frye were draft mistakes.

No...just the one from Italy.

How am I overrating Gallo? When he's healthy he is one of the best second or third scoring options to have on a team that has a superstar. It's no coincidence that he is having his best offensive season in a season where he has played in almost every game.

When I say clearly I do not mean may be better. I mean without a doubt clearly better. I will start you off. Kevin Durant. That is 1. You only need to name 4 more.
Why limit it just to the western conference? Just because the West is weak at SF doesn't give Gallo any form of props..
He isn't top 10 in the league currently.....
LeBron, KD, Melo, Deng, Paul George, Nic Batum, Gay, Pierce, Evan Turner, Kawhi Leonard are my 10.
And that's not including guys like Granger who is injured, Parsons, MKG and Barnes who are rooks. and sure to pass him over in about 2 seasons.
Gallo is a good player, nothing special, definitely not worthy to be called top of anything.

If Gallo is just a role player it should not be hard at all to name 5 SF who also play in the Western conference that are without a doubt better than he is. The list you just gave has so many questionable names that I'm not even going to waste my time with it never mind that 7 of them do not even play in the Western conference which Gallo plays in.
Thugger HBC wrote:Why are you so obsessed with the Western Conference? Its basically KD and no one else close.
But if it makes you feel good.....Gallo is a top 5 Western Conference SF.
That sounds so (Please Use More Appropriate Word).

You could certainly argue against that proposition but he is awesome.

It's a shame that the Knicks gave him away for practically nothing since they were desperate to acquire Lebron James. Would have been interesting to see him play on a good Knicks team.
for nothing? We got Amare at the time who was awesome (and still shows flashes), which led to us getting Melo and then Tyson.
people have selective memories when it comes to past Knick players like Lee. When he was here, we lauded him for his rebounding and hustle, but the majority of this board couldn't bear the thought of us paying him 12 mill per season, because his defense was horrendous and he wasn't a game changer at all back then. Even when he got to Golden State, he was putting up good numbers but they were ultimately hollow since they never translated into wins, and when you're making $80 million, that's an expectation you have to accept as a player. It wasnt until they got a coach who stressed defense and drafted a monstrous back-court that Lee's skills were put to good use.
NOW he's a truly great player.....but up until this year, let's not pretend we were all lamenting his loss, because that's just revisionist history.

I'm watching that game right now. Lee is just so skilled and has some of the best hands of any big man. He and Bogut may make the best passing big man tandem in the league.
I'll take the power of our bigs over them though. Amar'e is so dangerous inside. But these guys could do some damage in the playoffs.
