As of right now, we are 10th in the West. 3.5 games behind the 8th seed.

Jazz, close the gap with another playoff team. I think Jazz finish stronger than the blazers

would've been nice if they lost to the bobcats, but no surprise

They've got back to backs next 2 games against the GSW and the Heat. gotta hope for 2 losses right there

Man that game against Houston where we choked really hurts right now. We'd be only 2 games back behind Houston if not for that game

And the game we choked against the Suns a few days ago etc. We've given away so many games winnable games this year. I'm amazed all my hair hasn't turned grey.. :(

Smh. This team shouldnt even worry about what it takes to get the 8th seed. Just play hard and win games, the rest will work itself out.

Time to face the reality. This season is an embarrassment. But come playoffs, every team will start from scratch.

We really need to string together a sizable winning streak, this whole win 2 games and lose the next is not gunna cut it.

For once our FO really **** up after the Nash/Dwight acquisitions. First firing MB so early only to hire an even WORSE coach (MDA) and releasing G-Lock/CDR for Morris and Ebanks. No idea why the hell we want to bring Showtime back with this team, our perimeter guys are ancient. Not to mention, instead of James Worthy running the fast break, we have Metta **** Peace. Sigh

If we can magically win 3 of our next 5 road games then come home and go 8-2 or 9-1 it's not totally out I the question.

I do strongly question whether or not we can win 3 of the next 5 because nothing our team has done over the last month convinces me that we're now capable of winning on the road. Beating a miserable T-Wolves team minus K-Love convinces me of nothing. A win tomorrow against the Pistons would be a great start and at that point I would believe we could win 2 of our next 4 games. Detroit is going to be much tougher than Minnehaha though. Count on it!

Here are some notable games to watch out for:

Feb 22 - Lakers vs. Portland
Feb 28 - Lakers vs. Minnesota
Apr 2 - Lakers vs. Dallas
Apr 10 - Lakers vs. Portland
Apr 17 - Lakers vs. Houston
*Last game of the season

If we win 70-75% of our remaining games and the bolded games, we'll be in good position.

Can someone post the tiebreaker statuses between us and the 7-12 seeds?
