Lakers Trade:Gasol,Ebanks
Lakers Get:Granger,Mahinmi

T-Wolves Trade:Williams, Roy, Shved, Stiemsma,1st Round Pick
T-Wolves Get:Gasol,Ebanks

Pacers Trade:Granger,Mahinmi
Pacers Get:Williams, Roy, Shved, Stiemsma,1st Round Pick

Granger's contract is the same length as Gasol's so we would still be able to have cap space to make a move in 2014. Granger hasn't played yet this year but is an all star calibur player and would be great starting at SF and would allow World Peace to move to the bench. Mahinmi is a solid backup C which we would need if we trade Gasol this season.

PG-Nash/Blake
SG-Bryant/Meeks
SF-Granger/MWP
PF-Clark/Jamison
C-Howard/Mahinmi

A Pekovic extension isn't looking very likely. I could see him and Derrick Williams in Atlanta. Gasol in Minnesota and Josh Smith+Pachulia in L.A.

I kind of like JSmith and Pachulia for Pau. Its not my favorite, but its not a bad deal.
Really hope that Love for Pau deal can get done.

tbh wouldnt trade anything of value for bargs, he makes teams he plays for worse. injured hill > bargs.

+100, I hate all Bargs to Lakers trades. If you want a stretch PF, I would target someone like Ilysova.

From watching Bargs all these years in TO, he's honestly better than he gets credit for. But the only reason to take him is if the raps throw in treats to make up for shedding the contract. Now that they've traded Davis I can't see them doing that - they're going to be Lob City East with Gay, Derozan and Ross

^^^lol ^^^ No chance sorry.

I'm starting to believe that Lakers won't be making a trade b4 the deadline comes. Mostly because we won't get a backup C in return unless it's either Pek or Bargs and I don't see Lakers wanting either just yet.

I say... Wait until this season is finished.

Offer Pau Gasol for K.Love/JJ Barea = = = those 2 guys would be perfect for Lakers add Ebanks if have too/future 1st rounder???

^^^ 1 can only hope for that one hehe ^^^^
Resign Hill and Clark please do what ever it takes here. And of course Howard.

C: Howard/Hill/Sacre
PF: Love/Clark
SF: MWP/Jamison
SG: Kobe/Meeks
PG: Nash/Barea/Blake

Good mix of Defense n Offense???

I only see us making a move to shed salary/get younger once it's clear we have no shot at the playoffs. That could be very soon if we don't perform we'll in the next five games. We must win at least 3 of the next five or we're done imho. This Detroit game is huge and with the exception of the OKC game a short while back we've played pretty poorly on early Sunday games so far this year. Hopefully we have the energy to play well all four quarters tomorrow. If we avoid fading in the fourth Q, a problem that's plagued us all season long, I think we win. I'm kinda pissed we'll be seeing Calderon again!

We've won 4 of our last five games and it still feels like we're miles from being .500.

Optimistically we're going to need +/- 44 wins to get into the post season. We have 35 games left so to reach that number simple math tells us we're going to need to win 23 of our last 37 games. It's certainly doable but any bookie would be happy to offer 1-1 the Lakers don't get in.

In spite of what some of you may think I haven't lost all faith in our team but at the same time I'm not going to ignore reality and the reality is we're going to have to play considerably better than we have been the rest of the way to have a shot. This means absolutely no more losses against the damn Phoenix Suns of the league.

I'm no coach but I feel like if we make a concerted effort to slow games down as much as possible our guys will have much fresher legs late in games. This goes totally against MDA's philosophy and style of play so I'm skeptical this type of play is something that will be utilized.

Ebanks and Morris both suck but I feel like both players can give us a few useful minutes each half as high energy defensive specialists. If a pg is wearing Nash/Kobe out put Morris on him for a couple of minutes and see how that guy likes being chased around by a kid desperate to be on the court.

Gasol has looked better and must stay there the rest of the way.

Nash has looked great in more of a SG role.

Last but not least if at all possible Kobe needs to be limited to 32-33 mins a game.
Sometimes being wrong is awesome!!! :D
