I like Wilde once the personal stuff is filtered out. McGinn is hands down the best but he really isn't a source for "news".
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I think JSOnline and GBPG are both very good, with particular props for McGinn.

I personally like Wilde and think that he does a good job with Tuesdays with Aaron and goes out of his way to interact with fans and take their opinions seriously, which anyone can see from bouncing back a page in this thread. I also think his spots on 540 are great, and I agree he seems more plugged in to the players (especially those associated with Rodgers). I just think that, in terms of sheer analysis, he's well behind the folks at JSOnline and GBPG.

His choice to broadcast some aspects of his personal life doesn't really bother me too much, because I can understand how a man who's proud of his family would find it hard to avoid opportunities to share that on his twitter feed. But I also think the whole idea of Twitter is still a bit amorphous, and different news folks utilize it in different ways. Some use it as a simple extension of their job and stick to reporting news. Others use it as a more informal source of conversation and chatter with other writers and fans. And yet others just use it as an opportunity to share some aspects of their life that wouldn't find their way into a column. I think all of those options are legitimate, though I'd prefer a combination of options 1 and 2 (with heavy emphasis on 1).

I used to follow Wilde on Twitter and follow the links to his stories but he ended up blocking me after some political back and forth. I didn't think it was that serious but apparently he felt differently. I still think he's the best writer out of the bunch but in the end writing style isn't that important to me in sports. I just want the information. Tyler Dunne is a good follow on twitter, as is McGinn. I stopped listening to the Rodgers show a while ago, he just doesn't have very many interesting things to say, not Wildes fault. I did make sure to find the show after the Seattle game though-that was interesting. I listen to the Cheesehead TV podcast sometimes on my commute, they usually have good Packers draft info this time of year. Not for everyone tho.

Quick thought on Cheesehead TV and JSonline Dunne/McGinn pod's, my god, I imagine there are dozens of podcasts run by budding adolescents that have better production value to them. I lol every time I listen to a JSOnline pod and it is just Dunne playing a random pixies song for 20 seconds before awkwardly introducing himself and McGinn. Frankly, that should never change. The 'Sconsin accents are particularly brutal on Cheesehead TV and they seem to take everything far too serious (I suppose in an effort to be reputable, but seems a bit much). Either way, they both have good to great info (particularly dunne/mcginn, although their tangential stories tend to be incredibly uninteresting).

Wilde sucks.

Re: Twitter, McGinn is the norm macdonald of packer media. You never know when/why he will say something, but you will enjoy it. I love when he randomly goes off for 5 tweets on a topic, but the tweets are about as rare as unicorns.

Demovsky seems like a douche, and I'd recommend @WesHod (new guy who replaced Kareem) for you Gazette coverage. Really Dunny, WesHod, and McGinn should suffice. I typically enjoy Nagler, although he can be an idiot sometimes, although I really think much of that is him just trying to go the Skip Bayless route.
You gotta make it sexy! Hips and nips, otherwise I'm not eating.

I found myself tuning out of the Rodgers show as well. I still get the podcasts but this year they really started building up and I just deleted them if I was behind. Rodgers is witty when he wants to be and can be candid, but just haven't been lured in as much unless there is something big going on like the Seattle deal and this week with the Favre interaction will be interesting probably.

Yeah as for the Cheesehead TV, I'm off and on with Aaron Nagler. I think he is knowledgable and has passion for the Pack, but sometimes he comes off as really entitled and pompous.

Oh man, Nagler there is a name I haven't thought about in a while, unfollowed him about 2 years ago and haven't regretted it one bit.

I think Demovsky is pretty cool and does a good job. He's tweeted me back and seems level headed. I agree that WesHod has been pretty good, you can tell he is young, takes his job serious and is looking to become respected in the media.

Same thoughts on Nagler as I said above. I think he is knowledgable but is too much at times. Sometimes he screams "super fan" aka a more knowledgable St. Vince or Fence Painter than a true Packer news source.
