World Peace suspended

The NBA has suspended the Lakers' Metta World Peace for one game for contact with Detroit's Brandon Knight. He will tonight's game vs. Nets.

No peace or Howard today..

I think Jamison's gonna start at SF ...also more time for Meeks at SG and Kobe at SF

WOW. bullcrap. what if we show the league's FO durant's shot at metta the last time we played OKC? that play is way worse than what metta did to knight.

That .gif is misleading, it was not nearly that bad when viewed in normal context. Under normal circumstance there should not be a suspension for them getting tangled up, but I agree with it because of Ron Artest's history.

agreed on history and again its not suspension worthy for anyone else but this was not his 1st offense this season.

So MWP attempts a boxing move in a basketball game and he shouldn't be suspended?
I guess that Harden elbow suspension was BS too.

yep, Harden should've been suspended for running into Ron's elbows

but seriously though if thats anyone else other then Peace, its just a regular foul and or a T, not saying what he did isn't worthy of punishment but you cant argue this point, this type of action would only warrant this type of punishement because its Ron Artest.

And rightfully so. When you have the history of Ron Artest dating all the way back to the Palace, I don't think you can still give him the benefit of the doubt. After the Lakers won the chip in 2010 I honestly thought this dude finally change. But specially this year, the way the Lakers have been struggling, he just looks like a ticking time bomb to me.
