Yeah, but they'll probably be fine without those guys. They can save some money and try to draw someone to Phoenix.

Anyway, this should be a big win tonight. Let's see what you are made of Ed Davis!

We're up early in the third. Still, it's way too close.

Man Gasol has disapeared in the two games without Gay, what's going on? I don't get a chance to watch Grizzlies games here in central FL so I don't know? Did Gay draw defenders out to the perimeter and open up the lane for Marc or is Ed Davis somehow affecting Marc's minutes?
With Gasol on my fantasy team and the trade deadline looming should I look to trade the talented big?
Thanks in advance!

I'd say the general perception by the FO and fans is that Marc's production is going to go up, as he will receive more touches with Gay gone. I've missed the past few games, so I can't really speak on them, but I think it's safe to say that Zach and Marc are officially our go-to players now. (as they were before, but even moreso) I'd expect Marc's shooting percentages to be down but his overall output to be up in lieu of Gay's departure.

Marc got in some foul trouble.
Our spacing on offense is still abysmal. Bayless basically played the OJ role tonight, but that doesn't help us against teams that have the size to prevent us from playing him and Conley together.

With Gasol fouled out and Arthur playing like crap (1-9) why is he getting more minutes? Ed should get more than 10 minutes...

I hate losing to this suns team a lot, more than most other teams.

What happened in the fourth? We had a nice lead in 3rd quarter.

I hope Marc's production goes up soon, I spent a second round pick on him! Just like you I figured his shooting % would go down and his production up with Rudy gone so I guess it's a little scary to see him take this kind of dip right away. I'll assume he'll bounce back and all will be well and Dwight's Dumb Glasses will remain atop my league. Thanks jman and midpost

I'd be a little wary about thinking his production will go dramatically up. He's a nice player, but I'm not sure if he's going to make that offensive leap (5-10 points more per game). Since the beginning of all this I've been skeptical of this idea that Rudy going away is just going to translate into more shots and more scoring for everyone else. I hope Marc does step it up, because we need some scoring badly.

Yeah, it won't be dramatic. Even with Rudy, we force fed the post a lot. But, where is the offense going to come from? Conley can only do so much.

Maybe there just isn't going to be offense to replace Gay's lost production?

our pick&roll defense was so horrible tonight...
I do not know why Lionel Hollins did not use Tony Wroten to run the all coart with Ed Davis Darrel Authur

Somehow, I don't think Wroten would have helped on the P&R defense.

Marc Gasol: 23 minutes, 6 fouls. I didn't get to see the game, but that's ridiculous.

Good game by Bayless though.

I think Wroten should have played for sure. I decided to go to sleep at end of 3 with a 6 pt lead. can't believe they outscored us by 12 in the 4th. that's awful. meh

Yeah I guess dragic torched us in the 4th. That's actually where I like to see Wroten play: against those really good penetrating PG's.

Wroten is raw as hell, but he's a tall, quick PG who can probably frustrate many a ball-handler. He's the type of guy who can go under screens and still have a chance to contest a shot.
