The Celts are now 4-0 w/o Rondo.

The Lakers nip Detroit by one point. In a 2010 draft re-do, Monroe would go #1 IMO.

Sounds like a combo guard to me. But yes a great clutch performance.

Kyrie strikes me as filling the same role as prime Gil - an crazy good scorer who is also an OK passer.

He's a fun player to watch and has great moves to go with his sweet stroke. If he works on his defense, he will be special. I don't think I'd call him a great PG though. He's definitely more of the combo variety.

Nothing wrong with being a combo guard if you are shooting and playing as well as Kyrie Irving.

Cousins gets kicked out vs. the jazz. The kings fans are officially calling him a cancer. I can't believe some of you guys actually want that moron on this team.

It really speaks to how terrible our organization is that, when I saw that video, my first thought was "Now's our chance to get him!"

Not to mention that we still don't have what it takes to get him.

We need to trade Beal and our 1st round pick (unprotected) for Cousins.

And Vesely for Royce White.

Then room White and Cousins together. It would be all kinds of awesome.

The only way it could be better would be if we still had Blatche, McGee, and Young.

Talent is talent. 'Sheed has a ring. Hell, 'Sheed still takes up a roster spot. Artest too. Buying low on a headcase as he gets older is an acceptable move imo. You just don't want to be the team that gets stuck babysitting the late bloomers only to give them up for pennies on the dollar.

I completely agree. If this team were ran by let's say...the Spurs FO, then I would have no problem bringing in Cousins. OTOH, we're the Wizards...if anything, the bad behavior would get worse, the FO would condone it for a few years, and then we'd see Cousins traded for pennies for an over-the-hill veteran shooting guard or something. Not only that, Cousins has SERIOUS flaws in his game...I don't have any faith in this coaching staff being able to develop Cousins and work the kinks out. Look at Wall--he's still the same player he was when he was drafted...no development whatsoever. I don't expect much better from Beal either...it's an institutional thing.

http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/22 ... ing-Female

Cousins approached referees Scott Foster, Matt Boland and Tre Maddox at halfcourt at halftime.

Cousins said he wanted an explanation for the technical foul Maddox called on him in the second quarter.

"He was saying, 'Don't talk to me,' " Cousins said. "So my response was, 'You don't have to act like an effing female.' I shouldn't have said that. That's about it."

Sorry, but that was awesome. If you are going to get a T, that's the way to do it.

Pleeeze stop comparing Cousins to Sheed. Just because Sheed got a ton of techs doesn't mean he and Cousins have the same issues. Sheed is nowhere near the headcase that Cousins is.

The older he gets the more I respect Kobe's game. He really is amazing.

I wish the team had Cousins instead of Seraphin. Seraphin has flaws with his game. The Wizards currently have a coach who uses a 10-man rotation, for better or worse. Regardless of his game, his dramatic outbursts, whatever else--Cousins would play around 28 minutes a game, just like Nene and Okafor.

This Wizards have the perfect balance of veteran, good guy, "yin" to Boogie's bad guy "yang."

Wittman is the perfect coach for a dude like DeMarcus, too.
