Gotta disagree. That was a fully functional Ron Artest.

I thought he really was juts getting disentangled - not much if a punch, but given his history, why should anyone give him benefit of the doubt.

No one got hurt, the game wasn't significantly changed because of it...
Personal foul, loss of possession or shots... No flagrant, no suspension.

Hell, Knight himself barely reacted.

Don't buy the bad past acts in this case... Did with the Harden Elbow, but this was just a dumb play with no real harm done.
I'd let MWP hit me as hard as he wanted with a bent wrist, I guarantee you I wouldn't get a concussion like some of the reports are crying about. He might break his wrist, though.

The only reason the league did anything about this is because Brandon Knight cried about it to the press...
That and maybe because the Lakers complained about hard fouls.

Hey look I'm a Lakers fan so I'm mad at Ron Artest's warranted suspension because he acted like an idiot

Artest brought his arm up in a punching motion but didn't in fact punch him or Knight would have been knocked out. At the last second Ron Ron pulled the punch and barely caught Knight with the back of his hand. There was no power in that blow whatsoever. And what the **** is Knight doing getting all tangled with Ron anyway? Teams to to bait Ron at every opportunity. The guy's head didn't snap back one inch. Do you really think there was any power to that contact?

And as mentioned above Durant's cheap shot was far worse. He took a shot at a player that wasn't in a position to defend himself. Knight had his hands all up and on Ron Ron. How do you expect the guy to react under such circumstances? I guess next time Ron should just bear hug the guy?

Also, teams have figured out it's best to be physical with us. Look at how hard players foul Kobe and Dwight? They take hard swings at them every opportunity they get. It's amazing more of our players haven't gone down with injuries.

Some of you guys are delusional. Why is it always mwp and never another laker? Dood has mental problems not serious mental problems but none the less he has problems. Smh.

I'm just over dealing with Metta. The guy is a distraction to our team and thinks he's way better than he is. His D has been overrated and his offense unacceptable. It's just always something with this guy.

If we were to trade him, I believe it may very well be addition by subtraction.

Ok I guess you're trying to untangle and let go of someone when you have your hand wrapped around his head and pulling him toward you. Good grief. This guy is the next mass killer when he leaves the NBA. I can see the standoff between him and the police already.
