Brook Lopez should be untouchable in trade talks and I'm 100% serious.
He's on the upward curve and getting better and better while the rest of our mongaloids try to touch their noses with their tongues.

We are more talented then last year... absolutely. but we arent better. the level of effort, complacency, and competitiveness is the same of that of a 22 win team that has no passion. the talent alone will get us a top 3-6 seed, but this team is a captainless ship that will eventually go down in flames

he has looked AWFUL defensively since memphis. and offensively he hasnt taken advantage of some enormous mismatches(i.e. going up against 6'9" SF's and PF's the last few games.
we had to bench him for blatche to prevent us to losing to chicago's second string players because he couldnt outplay taj gibson at the 5

from an outsider point of view, if u look at derons team in utah they had much better spacing and had players that can stretch the floor. players such as mehmet okur, carlos boozer, kirelinco, etc.
now the nets do not have enough players that can stretch the floor like that. wallace cannot shoot. he is an uptempo player. evans is what he is and humphries is a bench hustle player. what is the reason tele cannot play the steve novack\kyle kover role on this team?
now my team knicks doesnt have grea shooters outside of novack but when they arent playing iso ball they have moved the ball and get open shots for players. i have rarely seen that on the nets

Too bad, Nets are a mediocre team (according to you) so predicting that it SHOULD be an EASY win is laughable.
Mediocre teams can beat bad teams easily.
Stop being so hyped over one loss and focus on the other games you need to get into the playoffs.

We have been hearing that ever since he got traded hear. If Deron cannot stay healthy ever, then hes just an injury prone player.
Theres no real excuse for him. Hes not playing like a super star.
He had wrist surgery and played for a lottery team for 2 years. What on earth does that have anything to do with today? He's played like one for the last 2 months. He played like trash for the first 2 months.
I really don't get what people want. When he plays lights out and we lose, it goes unnoticed. When he plays like crap and we win or win big, no big deal. Can he play alot better? Yes but this entire discussion is ridiculous.
Fact is, there isn't enough spacing for him to properly operate through pick and rolls and it was a glaring weakness if you re-watch the game. Again, It's a very very simple problem and it includes the fact Wallace/Evans kill our spacing and offense but it won't change....until PJ is out.
What does that have to do with today?
Hes played like garbage for the past 3 seasons. He has never played like a superstar while in a Brooklyn Nets uniform. Thats the point.
I don't care if he has the occasional good game. He was advertised as a super star player. Hes not even playing like an all-star!
Stop blaming the coach every time. THE PROBLEM IS DERON.

He is a turd. Plain and simple.
He comes up small every time we have a big game.
I cant even blame him either. The Nets kissed his ace for 2 years and let him slack off because they didnt have good teams. Avery and BK coddled him instead of making him accountable for his half hearted play.
Now they expect him to turn the switch on. It's too late. He has forgotten how to play winning basketball. He doesnt fight through pick on PnR anymore. Most of our defensive problems revolve around him not being able to keep his man out of the paint. It completely collapses the defense.
Hopefully he takes this offseason to cut the BS. He needs to drop like 5% body fat and get back to being a hungry player.
Hey Bills What's up man? Its been a long time
Dude!!! what's good

BTW, Nash was pulling some awkward BS shots out of no where and getting them to go down. When that was happening in the 4th, combined with all the bogus ref calls, I'm sure we all had that feeling of hopeless swell up.

Eh, Nash has made a career of pulling out these awkward, incredible shots out of his ass. Didn't know that he had that good of a lefty shot scoop shot though.
He's so underrated in general and especially on these boards. Still a top 10 PG. He completely picked us apart last night, and totally outplayed D-Will.
